Squeaky noise

For what it is and the price, it works as intended. The first thing I checked was rather the components could be taken apart and cleaned. Most of it can be, but I wouldn't recommend submerging the lid in water because the turning wheel inside the lid can't be taken out for cleaning. This should be a problem as long as the parts are dried thoroughly. My only one real complaints are the squeaky noise. I don't know if I was turning it too fast or what but the spinner was making a squeaky noise as I turned the knob, but the noise wasn't really annoying either. That being said the little plastic food should either be left off or replaced with rubber feet if they ever upgrade the design. I found the plastic feet didn't help with the stability of it while on the countertop so I had to hold down with my arm while I spun the salad. Again minor but something to take note of.

Preparing salads made easy with just few spins it drains all excess water. Sturdy in structure and easy to clean. Must have if you love eating salads.

Nice Salad Spinner

Works pretty well, you do have to remove the inner holder to release the water in the bottom of the clear bowl, replace the salad and spin again.

Great for salads and paint!

Yup, this was purchased for salads UNTIL my daughter saw splatter paint pins on Pintrest! So, I will start out with my review regarding what it was originally ordered for! In an attempt to start eating healthier, we decided to add more salads and veggies to our diets. This salad spinner worked great for lettuce, other greens as well as smaller veggies that we had cut. I liked that we could use the strainer seperately and then use the outer bowl as a serving dish after simply rinsing the bowl out. The handle made handle made spinning the salad and veggies so easy that my seven year old was more than happy to be in charge of the spinning! Now, regarding the paint idea. I'm not sure how she did it since I was not aware of its paint use until she asked me where she needed to dump the paint out at! At first I was a little livid but to be honest, the painting that came out was interesting. So, we dumped the paint out in the trashcan and the spinner came clean almost instantly of course, we had to scrub a few place where the paint has gotten into the corners (on the strainer part) but after it was cleaned, you could not have even known it has paint in it. Overall, this salad spinner was easy to use and easy to clean. Since everything fits right back together after you have cleaned it, it is also easy to store. You also can not beat the price. I have to say that I would definately recommend this salad spinner to anyone who was wanting cleaner veggies or an artsy person who was wanting to use it for spin art! I will be purchasing another salad spinner but I think on my next one, I would love to have a bigger size.

Squeaky!

I like everything about this except the annoying squeaky noise it makes every time I spin it. Could just be the one I got tho ….

The handle could be designed better

This salad spinner is great and there is no moldy smell after I use it. The plastic container where you place the veggies and salad in is made of really good plastic. I like the fact that I can put a big amount of lettuce in this salad spinner. The only downfall is that the handle could have been designed better. It’s not as sturdy as the other ones I have looked at so this is why I gave it only 4 stars. If the company improves on this element, then it’s 5 stars for me but until then, it’s only 4 stars.

Good salad spinner.

What I love about this salad spinner is that it is very easy to clean and all parts can be cleaned and dried. I did have another spinner that couldn’t be taken apart for cleaning so mould was an issue in some hard to reach places. The basket is large and seems to be made of very durable plastic. Before buying this one I had a one that was made in Germany, which was just as easy to clean but the basket was very flimsy and pieces started breaking off not too long after purchasing it. One thing that some might find annoying is that it does squeak when using it but for me it’s not an issue.
