Bought for my ten year old side by side Frigidaire...

Because the ice bin cracked (along with the freezer shelf and two shelves in the fridge, which seems to be a problem with Frigidaire refrigerators.) I took it all apart and put the old auger in the new bin. It took a bit of fiddling, because the screw-holes in the new bin didn't quite line up, but other than that it fit in the freezer great. But if you don't want to mess with all that, I recommend spending the extra money and just buying the entire bin-and-auger combo.

Great icemaker!

I originally purchased an icemaker on Ebay, and had a terrible experience! I returned and purchased this through Amazon. which I feel much more comfortable with. The icemaker works great, and it arrived faster than I thought! The only complaint is that the automatic lever does not auto turn off when the bin is full of ice.
