Durable and definitely does not bounce

This ball actually isn't the type that I intended to order. I thought from the description that it was made the same as a slam ball, meaning that it wouldn't bounce or roll upon impact due to being filled with a sand type substrate, but instead this one has what seems to be a gel type core that keeps it from bouncing but DOES NOT keep it from rolling. Regardless, I've decided to keep it because the ball seems well made and I can use it for other types of exercises with my clients. I've used it approximately 20 times so far and it isn' t showing any sort of wear yet. I would have given this 5 stars if the description had been better.

Great buy!

Exactly what I needed. I bought the 25lbs one and it’s great, I slammed this ball numerous times and I’ve had it for 2 mos and no issues. I’m sure it’ll last longer but if it doesn’t I’ll send an update. So far so good I’ll order different sizes when it becomes available from this brand.

I've tried multiple medicine balls to throw, these are great!

These are great for slamming on the ground. I have them for my track athletes, and we've broken a few medicine balls this season because they were not meant to be continually thrown onto the ground. The kids like these; they're grippy and don't bounce at all. However, you can tell there is a sand or gel substance that moves in them, because if you shake it you can feel it move around. I like this because it makes the ball a little unstable on the throw, some people don't like that. Just a heads up, but if you're worried about wear and tear this is the ball for you.

It’s okay.

Weight is right.. Quality seems decent... Filling is more like sand .. so there is no bounce to it. Will update after a few sessions for durability.

Good so far, and versatile!

I haven't smashed much with it, yet because I don't have a lot of good surfaces for it- I should have thought about that before purchasing- BUT I love it as a medicine ball and as a hand/wrist-friendly substitute for a kettlebell for two-handed exercises like the swing, goblet squat, or row. I plan on buying a heavier one soon and finding somewhere I can actually slam them!

Works great. Work outs are quick and easy

I'm 70 yrs. old and use the 30 pound ball for slamming on the floor and other exercises. Works great. Work outs are quick and easy. My wife want's one now. She hates the fact that when I hold out my arms that there's no skin or flab hanging from them.
