I picked up a super dusty and dirty basement floor entirely

This was perfect for the job. There was a lot of loose paint chips, dirt, dust, and other debris on the basement floor and this came in and saved the day.

A great filter for your workshop vac!

Good quality filter. Does what it says and can last for years if used with a filter buddy as long as you don’t allow it to get wet. Like any paper based filter, moisture can expand the paper causing the pores to close up. I have been using this one for about a year and it’s still clean and functional.

Very effective at capturing fine dust

Used the vacuum to clean up after a very dusty wall demolition. The filter caught everything. As expected, the filter was saturated with dust long before the vac tank was full, but it caught all the dust. Cleaning it out was pretty dusty, but it seems very durable and I'm continuing to use it to clean up after drywall taping and sanding.

Good quaility filter

The rubber ring is smaller/tighter than the original filter came with workshop 4-gallon 5 HP vacuum. Maybe it's designed this way to prevent fine dust from leaking out. It will take some time and effort to stretch the rubber ring a bit when installing the filter. It's a bit pricey.

Fits Rigid 16 Gallon Wet/Dry Vac

Bought this as a replacement for my 16 gallon Rigid wet/dry vac, and this fit perfectly. Matched the filter that came with the vacuum from the factory.

Cleans Easily

I use this to clean my pellet grill ash and the filter with the blue coating help release the ash by shaking the filter in the garbage. Then after the third use I will wash the filter making sure it us completely dry before re-installing on the vacuum. I plan on ordering a spare.

Fits my RIGID 4 gallon WD40700 shop vac

I was looking for a more cost effective filter for my 4 gallon RIGID WD40700 shop vac. IT FITS! I am very happy with this and glad to have found this less expensive substitute to the RIGID brand filter.

Bought this for an older Workshop wet/dry vac WS12000

Workshop changed the design of the filter cage so this "new" style filter will not fit onto the old WS12000 filter cage. This new filter is 1" taller than the old filter cage. Called Workshop (1-800 number) and they acknowledged the filter cage design change and this new filter design would not work with the old WS12000 filter cage. Workshop sent me the new filter cage design (for free) - part number = 510205. BTW, I am in Canada. Popped out the old filter cage and installed the new filter cage (P/N=510205). Installed this new filter onto the new filter cage, and the vacuum is back in business.

Replacement for Ridgid VF5000 filters but looks lower quality

At check out, expected delivery stated to be 2 to 3 days (Prime). It was actually shipped from the US and took over a week. The filters fit my Ridgid Vac but, compared to the genuine Ridgid filters, are lighter and smaller overall. The genuine Ridgid filters seem to be better made and of a better quality. The next ones I buy will be genuine Ridgid filters.

Fits perfectly and seems to work well

I was using the bags, but decided to try the filter instead. It fit on perfectly and seems to work well. Haven't tried vacuuming up wet messes with it so can't comment on how well it would hold up, but with dry items, seems to work well.
