Glad I Researched the Color!

First, let's address the color issue. I found this quilt set on another site for considerably more money, but it showed the color as more navy or dark blue. It was a bit pricey so I decided to check Amazon for comparison. Initially I was disappointed as the photos on Amazon show this set as more of a turquoise/green than navy. After looking at a few other sites offering the same quilt, curtains, etc, I determined that the colors were indeed what I wanted. There is no aqua/teal/turquoise in this quilt. The actual colors are navy, or lapis as they refer to it, with touches of medium blue and light blue on a khaki, not cream, background. If I had been making a decision on whether to buy this based on the photos here showing it to be more turquoise and green, I would NOT have purchased the set. Now...on to the quality of the quilt. I bought it as our "winter" quilt because I like a darker, cozier feel in our bedroom during our cold northern winters. The weight of the quilt isn't all that heavy, which works for my husband and I. The quilt stitching appears to be adequate. We'll see how it holds up after a few washings. For anyone who orders a king sized quilt for their queen sized bed, as I do, be aware that the bed-skirt included in the set won't be seen. The drop on the sides almost touches the floor on our Sleep Number bed. The pillow shams are also king sized requiring me to buy 2 new pillow inserts for those. They're a bit big for the bed, but not overly so. I also purchased the matching curtain panels and valances which nicely finish the look in our room. Overall, I love the quilt, shams, curtains, etc, and am very pleased with my purchases. They do warm up the room as intended. Amazon had the best price on both the quilt set and the curtains/valances compared to any other site that sells them. I saved about a hundred bucks!

Great Quality and Reversible

This daybed set is the most beautiful of all the ones I saw on various websites, and only Amazon had the set in stock. On other websites, the set had been sold out, and there is a reason for that. The quilting is not heavy, but it has enough thickness to look like a sleek comforter. The scalloped edging is different from others I had seen, and although it comes with 3 shams (I am waiting for the inserts) and a skirt for the day bed, I do not need the skirt because our daybed has a trundle. If you need a skirt, it is beautiful. The reverse side of the quilt and the shams is beautiful. If you can find this set, and the colors work for you, don't hesitate to buy it. In the photo, please note that our Boston Terrier is not for sale.

Absolutely beautiful!! I highly recommend!

I am ecstatic with this quilt set and I highly recommend it! The colors are exactly as shown in the pictures and are as vivid. The quality is excellent!! I've already washed this quilt numerous times and there hasn't been so much as a loose thread. There has been no color bleeding or fading when washed and dryed in a dryer. The fabric is soft to the touch and after the initial wash and dry, I always wash bed linens before use, any initial stiffness disappeared. Definitely a 5 star rating for this set. Just beautiful!

Not really for a daybed.

This is advertised as a daybed cover, but it is just a quilt with pillow shams. The video said it was fitted on the corners, short in the back, but unless it is a secret how to find the corners, I never found the corners or the back. I never thought I would need instructions to put on a daybed cover.

Farmhouse? Looks Like It Belongs in a Barn

The pictures on the Amazon site make the colors and design look so rich and vibrant! In person, however, the entire set looks cheap and faded, like it sat and gathered dust in someone's unused guest room for about twenty years. The background color is MUCH more grey, and the colors come across considerably more muted and dingy-looking than the pictures would lead you to believe. The cloth itself is VERY thin and rough, and I can't imagine it would be at all comfortable. As I stated in the title of this review, this comforter set might make a great horse blanket and look right at home in a barn, but it certainly won't stay in our home! It's going back tomorrow! The same goes for the matching curtains and valances I ordered to go with it.
