decent quality

I didn't realize that this is compostable only in commercial facilities.. Now I am not sure if this is better than regular plastic bags if it's not being composted. As for quality - it's better that I expected, and I've reused one of the bags 5 times already, and it still can be used. The only thing that sucks is a zipper...

You can't open it

When trying to open the bag, the opening tears instead of unzipping. I tried doing everything including using my fingernails to get to the zipper. I even tried taping the opening with scotch tape so it wouldn't rip when I was just trying to pry open the zipper. I really wanted to give this 1 star, but since it's compostable and green, I gave it 3 stars - the average between 5 stars for being green and 1 star for being impossible to open. I hope a reincarnation of this product fixes that sad issue.

Good for the planet!

I love these! I hope to get a freezer version! I like how they feel and I can rinse them several times before I compost them. I like that.

Grateful for compostable alternative

It eases my conscience to know I'm not adding to the plastic problem every day at least a little. These bags serve the same purpose the plastic counterpart served and have done it admirably. No issues with leaking.

Theseare crap!!!

These are an absolute waste of money. The bags tear before you even get them open. Really crappy manufacturing if you ask me. I'd go through three or four bags before I could get one to open and close like they're supposed too. And it wasn't just me, my entire family of five had the same problems. Save yourself some time and frustration and get something else

Tear easily

Bought these thinking I was going to save some money, I was wrong. I needed to use them all since I had some items to store. These bags aren’t even strong enough for something light weight. Most of the bags teared up on their own as I tried to opened them. Made with really cheap material, ended up throwing most away. Won’t be buying these again

Versatile and Compostable

This is my second purchase of these bags. I was originally looking for an alternative to plastic for my refrigerator and freezer storage. I now also use them for my compostable refuse that will end up in a landfill (everything else is recycled). I live in an apartment and since I cannot have a compost heap this is the next best thing. Thank you for creating this product.

Love these

Hands down the best damn thing I found in 2022. In Nebraska they had lots of plastic stuff made out of corn back in 1984. And then it all turned to plastic when Reagan got wind of it. But before that senile elder statesman decided to impart his bewildered wisdom upon the electorate, they made stuff outta plant plastic. And this is a result of that effort - an extremely usable and economically viable solution.
