Amazing feel

I got this out of boot camp when I was growing my hair back and my hair has never felt better than every. Consistently hydrated and my hair grew back quicker than expected. Look forward to pairing this amazing shampoo with its conditioner

Used For A Full Month And Hair Felt Dry and Unsatisfying.

I used this for a solid month and while It says hydrating it made my hair feel stringy and hard after every use. I started using a different shampoo to see if it was that (used the 76 conditioner as well) it did improve a tad but still made my hair feel dry and unsatisfying after every use. I’m staying far away from this product and will be trying more men’s hair products. Stay away if you have full thin hair.

Wonderful Stuff

EDIT: my most recent order of this is pretty clearly either fake or expired, with the shampoo being extremely thin compared to prior purchases, with grainy bits mixed in, and a different fragrance. Please be sure to check yours. The product should be thick, with no grainy bits. I was initially hesitant to buy this stuff based on what I'd read in the reviews about the fragrance, but I'm happy to report that I very much like the fragrance, and that it isn't at all overwhelming (and overwhelming fragrances are absolutely something I make an effort to avoid, as that's never a good way to start the day). After washing there do tend to be 2 or 3 moments during the day when I'll catch a whiff of that "blue cedar" fragrance, but I've yet to experience anyone else being able to smell it, so it's pretty subtle. As for the actual effect of the shampoo, I switched to this from a typical cheap-ish bulk shampoo that probably had sulfates, and I noticed an immediate improvement. It doesn't lather as much as I'm used to during application, but the lather didn't really serve a purpose to begin with so long as the shampoo was actually doing its job. I also noticed that I don't need to use as much product as I was before, because this stuff is considerably more effective. The only real downside, aside from possibly the price, is the bottle design. This kind of shape and size, without a pump, is an extremely poor design choice in terms of functionality. The shampoo isn't so thick as to pose a problem coming out, but the constant squeezing of the bottle results in the sides caving in, and will (I'm sure) over time start to look like a roughly-handled soda can, making unpleasant sounds when the sides pop back into place, etc.

Expensive, even more than it seems

Overall, it's a good shampoo. The scent is very mild and it leaves my hair clean with no residues. At $17 for an 8oz bottle, it more that twice the price of other high-end, posh shampoos. But it is not as concentrated. I have to use 3-4 times as much to get my hair clean, so at 6 to 8 times the cost per use, I won't buy this again.

My new brand!

I used Jonathan Products for years. I was very quick to adopt his hair are products as soon as they came out, and yes, I watched the show. However, once Sephora stopped carrying it and Amazon sellers had apparently old product that was going bad (and the company closed), I had to finally find a replacement. I believe that my hair should be taken care of, and I take my hair care products very seriously. I tried several products after Jonathan Product, and couldn’t find one that I really liked. Finally, I purchase the Vaughn V76 hair paste and I really like it, so I decided to try the shampoo and conditioner. I’m very pleased and will expect to use this brand until I lose my hair or they stop making it. Absolutely would encourage anyone considering this to buy it. Yes, it is a bit more expensive than a 3-in-1, but I think it’s worth it. I have short, thick, curly, and slightly oily hair. I don’t usually have issues with dandruff.

Great product! Ignore the scent complaints

I have coarse hair and could not find a decent shampoo. I kept my hair short for many years so my shampoo needs were not complicated. I settled on Aussie Moist and had used it for years. That was fine until I started growing my hair longer again. i did a lot of research and this shampoo consistently showed up as being great for coarse hair. I was concerned about the negative reviews that complained about the scent. It does have a musky, masculine scent. However, in contrast to the negative reviews, I like the scent. My only slight negative is the price. Just make sure to use it sparingly. A little goes a long way.

Very good for fine, dry hair

I'm a middle-aged man with a full head of hair, but I have never been able to wear longer styles because my hair is very fine and dry. I've been looking for years for a high-quality shampoo that will add moisture and volume and let me manage a longer cut. I finally found it with this shampoo. It leaves my hair clean but not dried out, with a pleasant scent a little bit like cocoa butter. I use it daily with the conditioner, and it leaves my hair fuller and easier to style. It seems a little bit pricey, but you really don't have to use very much - about the size of a nickel to a quarter, and it should last you 6-8 weeks. Highly recommended for anyone looking to add moisture and volume.

Ne mousse pas. Trop cher pour ce que c'est.

Douce odeur particulière, mais agréable. Moi et ma conjointe ne recommandons pas ce produit dû au prix élevé et son manque d'agent moussant. Texture de "crème à main". Sans mousse, si vous avez les cheveux le moindrement long, c'est difficile à bien répartir le produit dans les cheveux. :-/

Decided to try this after several other brands that did not perform. Have used this for 2 weeks and not much difference in my scalp (itchy). It doesn't foam up much. I see the price went down after I ordered it.

Scent Need Tweaking

Its been a few days since I been using this shampoo and have to say it is helping my dry scalp. I don't pic at my scale and pull off scabs nor does my scalp get itchy also I have seen a huge reduction in my dandruff as well which is a plus. If i was to give any feedback it would be to make the scent stronger. Aside from that am pretty happy with the shampoo.

Bad scent but works

It smells like old wood or something strange. The scent is definitely something they need to work on. If you’re willing to bypass the smell it’s a great product and works. I have very dry itchy scalp and damaged hair. After using this stuff I could feel a difference. It works but the scent needs to be changed! Also
