These work fine...

Two Hole Pipe Strap Clamp Fastener 1/2-inch Stainless Steel These clamps are a bit loose for 1/2" copper pipe or something similar, but tight when used for 1/2" steel pipe. They are thin @ .0019" (1/500 of an inch), decent quality stainless and can be cut with tin snips. You can use two or three (thickness) for heavy duty installations. I put a clamp on a damp cloth for a week as a test, and there was zero rust. Using a sheet metal hole punch, you can punch new holes (with serious effort), if for example, you want to make the clamps into a smaller size. E.g., I shortened some clamps, wrapped a short section of gaffers tape around the middle, punched a new hole into the cut end, and used them as clamps for flat 10/3 electrical cable. I couldn't find pre-made cable straps that fit flat 10/3.

Good for diy

I wouldn't try these for any real application other than making some shelving ect that's what I used them for black pipe shelving to hold the wood to the pipe seems good for that. They aren't tough at all but that price point for using them for what I did worked perfect.

Buy a different brand.

Very thin and flimsy. "Technically" it is a pipe strap, but in reality a very thin piece of cut sheetmetal with 2 holes drilled in.
