These are perfect for kids
First, we have bought 4 of these. The first one we bought lasted over a year and then stopped working but my son loved it so much we replaced it and bought them for the other kids as well. It can be set at any phase or it can rotate through them all every 5 seconds or so. It gives off just enough light. My only complaint is i wish you could set the timer a little longer for those who take more time to go to sleep. I think its about 30 minutes before it shuts off.

Beautiful and functional! Perfect for anyone who loves to moon gaze.
I love this light. The surface pattern is very realistic and I love how you can change the phases of the moon even though I keep it on full most of the time. I bought one over 12 years ago for my then newborns nursery. I hung this light on his wall along with hundreds of those glow in the dark stars dangling from his ceiling with short pieces of fishing line. It was so magical I have never taken it down. The other day I decided I needed a nightlight that I could reach easily when I needed to get up in the middle of the night. I have three dogs that lay in random spots around ny bedroom floor and I end up stepping on them everytime I go to the bathroom. I was going to steal the one from my sons room but I didn't have the heart to move it so i just ordered a new one. I am so glad i did. I had forgotten how bright it is. It will light up the entire room with a soft glow and it actually gives you the same feel of a real moon lit room. I think it is the color of the light. It has a blue-ish tint instead of the more yellow tinted light that you get from a standard light bulb. I keep the remote on my nightstand so it is easy to reach for to turn on. In addition to it being functional, it is just really pretty, even for an old lady's bedroom :-)

Goes through batteries like a house afire
I turn it on with just the crescent moon lit, and it turns off in 20 minutes. I have to replace the batteries every week, which really makes this an expensive nightlight. I would love this to be rechargeable or AC operated as an option. Would not recommend because of the crazy battery cost.

Incredible moon light!
I was looking for a moon light for my son and saw they were retailing for $80+! Then j found this and it is such a good deal and light! The remote control is easy to use, and my son is obsessed.

Realistic and great value
Bought this for our grand daughters space themed nursery after seeing it at a friend’s house. It’s an incredible light that she adores. Very realistic when lit, remote control and timer. Absolutely thrilled good quality product and great value for money.
