Only boots I will wear

Great boots. I have very hard to fit feet and I have to have a lace to toe style to be able to get them to lace tight enough to stay in place. These are the only thing that i have been able to find that will work for me. I have been through three pairs in as many years. I wear them 330 out of 365 days a year for anywhere from 8 to 12 hour days inside a steel wheel factory. Lots of oil, shavings, water, etc and my only complaint is they are way too heavy. These are great but if they would make them in a composite or aluminum toe they would have a real winner.

Best work boots I've ever had.

Exceptional comfort right out of the box. They reduce fatigue better than any boots I know of. This is my 3rd pair. I will probably never switch as long as they keep making them.

These things are heavy!

Now I read reviews of how heavy they are but me being the manly man that I am assumed it was just people complaining about a little weight but these boots although seems like a decent build quality and all the bells and whistles you could want it adds a considerable amount of weight. If you want to work your legs out while at work just wear these things and your legs will tone right up. 3 stars for the amount of weight which is very noticeable and to lug them around on concrete and crawling around it just feels like bricks on your feet. Although they are comfortable and fit well.

The complete work boot

This boot has it all: Waterproof, comfortable, reinforced steel toe/sole, and good looks. You pay for these things, but at least in this case, you're getting what you pay for. After 20 years in the military it was time to buy new boots for my career as a contractor. I wish the military would invest in these boots for our troops. They're 10 times better than the authorized boots that we wear in the field. Only con that I can think of is that they are significantly heavier than your average boot, due to the steel reinforcement. But if your job requires those safety features, it's well worth the extra weight.

Boots

My husband works on radars and weather systems and has to climb ladders. He has to have boots that are weather proof as well as safe from any hazards of electrical or solvets. They are very comfortable. He usually takes his boots off as soon as his feet hit the door at home. Not with these! He keeps them on all day! From a wife's perspective they are very nice looking and doesn't look like something the cat drug in! I like the style and the leather coloring. A very attractive boot!

they are okay- not great

I bought these based on the positive reviews here on Amazon, but I think the optimism is somewhat unwarranted. I also bouth them a 1/2 size large because many reviewers said they ran small. I also disagree with this. After this pair, I'm going back to my lightweight Red Wings- can't go wrong with them.
