Manual is not written accurately

I read through the manual before use. Yes, amazing. I wanted to change units from Celsius to Fahrenheit and followed the manual exactly. I then called the manufacturer for support. After going through support, I was told to send it back to the manufacturer, Testo. I spent $23.00 for shipping and was told 2 days later that the manual is not accurate and they told me over the phone how to change the units. I received the same unit back from the manufacturer and it works well but it cost me an extra $23.00.

Quality

I purchased a device in the £10-£20 range and it was fine, then I purchased this unit and it is in a different league - it feels and handles like a superior device, the temperature readings seem more stable. I didn't get the device calibrated but it reads on average 1% less than the cheaper device and I trust this unit more for my heated floor.

Testo Infrarot-Temperaturmessgerät T2

Die Ergonomie des Griffes ist unzureichend. Ich würde mir daher verschiedene Temperaturmessgeräte kommen lassen und schaun, wie sie in den Händen liegen. Die Hand ist die Nahtstelle zum Werkzeug. Dieser Kontakt muss daher einfach super gut sein. Das ist er bei diesem Testo definitiv nicht. Ich behalte trotzdem, weil ich einen europäischen Hersteller stärken möchte.

Strumento di facile utilizzo. A favore: Qualità costruttiva , Praticità utilizzo, Precisione della misura. A sfavore : Visto il prezzo non proprio economico potevano prevedere una custodia di protezione fornita di serie e non come accessorio.

Bueno, hay poco que decir de la marca Testo. Quizas he echado en falta un estuche de proteccion y una sonda de temperatura externa. Por lo demas es perfecto para mediciones a distancia, eso si, hay que saber controlar la emisividad de lo que se vaya a registrar, pues si no es asi dara fallo.
