Gorgeous lamp and great customer service!

I got this lamp because my cat is a genius. She has learned to turn on all of the lights in my apartment (both the light switches and the lamps) which is really annoying when I'm trying to sleep and she wants to play. I had a bedside lamp with a pull switch and she learned that if she pulled the string, the lamp would turn out and I would get out of bed. After about 6 times of her turning on my lamp and then getting very excited that I was awake (she's very dog like), I decided I needed a new lamp because sleep is important. In comes this product. I was excited when I saw the other reviews and decided to give this one a chance. First off, the product itself comes unassembled and the directions are more confusing than Ikea's. But with time, intuition, and constant referencing to the complete picture on amazon, you can figure it out. Second, the finished product is more beautiful than the photo. I was worried that the crystals would look like plastic but they really didn't. Each crystal is heavy and, while plastic, fairly flawless. They really shine like crystals. So, what happens when you assemble this is you have to string a ton of crystals together and then attach them to the metal scrolls that go from the top to the bottom. I was literally on my last row when I noticed that the second to last scroll didn't have a bottom hole for me to attach the crystals to. Having put in so much work, I really didn't want to disassemble it and get a new one. I emailed the seller in order to get a new piece. It took a few days for them to respond (which is expected) and, a few days later, I got a call from one of the representatives who just wanted to confirm which piece needed to be replaced. We spent 5 minutes on the phone, discussing what the issue was. At the end, she said that she would send it ASAP and, within a few days, I got the new piece. I was really impressed with the customer service. I feared that it would be months of fighting but no- it was super quick and very professional. This lamp is gorgeous. I would recommend it to anyone who likes crystals.

Assembly is not for the faint of heart.

If your time is of little value and you’re looking to double down on a latent masochistic tendency, then this lamp is for you! It is rare to stumble upon such an opportunity to confront deep feelings of inadequacy, paired with the sublime high of sweet success on the tail end if you manage to figure out how to assemble it before succumbing to failure and dropping it off at your local shooting range to be used as a target. Ladies, schedule a manicure ahead of time! The lamp is decently attractive once assembled, but, imho, not worth the hassle.

Look beyond the photo provided

First off I will say this is an exceptionally beautiful lamp and the photo does not do it justice. I ordered a set for bedroom nightstands and plan to use Hue color bulbs with them to accent the crystals and create various ambiances. As for assembly the lamp part was easy enough but the crystal assembly had very poor instructions- hence the four stars instead of five. Overall a great value, beautiful, and so glad I had vision beyond the photo provided here.

Too much work...

Unless you are an electrician and can put things together without directions, this product isn't for you. This lamp comes COMPLETELY unassembled. You not only have to put the crystals on it, you have to wire it, and the "picture" directions to do so are sparse and actually incorrect for the base assembly. Some of the crystals were missing and a couple were chipped. The crystals are very hard to attach, as they are attached by tiny split rings that are difficult to open. I tore my fingers up assembling it, and it took nearly four hours to complete. It is beautiful once assembled, but way overpriced considering the amount of work required to assemble it.

Stunning!

I ordered two of these lamps for my bedside tables. They are totally stunning! A whiter lightbulb creates a flummery effect. Yellow light bulbs are more muted but still gorgeous. Assembly was definitely some work. It's easier if you have someone hold the lamp and the other person string the jewels on. Assembly is ultimately worth it!

Assembly Better have small hands and patience Once assembled tho it looks better then anything i found in stores glad i bought two and would recommend them if you don’t mind assembly

The one that I did put together is pretty though.

Too difficult to put together. NO INSTRUCTIONS. Probably 70 pieces. Must use wire nuts to connect plug/cord to wiring. Ordered two lamps. One worked. The other was missing pieces, so I had to return it. The one that I did put together is pretty though.
