Lasted longer than others but not indestructible

He is chewing off pieces but not as quickly as some other dog toys.

My Dog Loves This!

Fairly sturdy for heavy duty chewers. It doesn't take my dog long to get the rounded part of the bone chewed down. Good product!

Excellent Chew Toy for an AGGRESSIVE Chewer

Our 18-month old Doberman is the most aggressive chewer that has ever lived with us. She goes through the "Tuff" toys - supposedly made for aggressive chewers - in about 10 minutes. The first one of these Ethical Pets Strong chew bones lasted her about 6 months before she started to get pieces of the rubberized material off of the main body. At that point I threw it away since I didn't want to take a chance on her eating them and harming herself. I ordered the second one because the first lasted so long. This is a good toy if your dog likes to chew a lot, and they're available in different sizes depending on the size of your dog. For our Dobey we got the 6" size. They are "almost" indestructible, and better than almost everything else we've ever tried.

Great so far!!

So far so good. My JRT (Jack Russell Terrier) loves this and one other Play Strong Chew Toy purchased from Amazon.com. So far she has not chewed off any pieces but we are just going on our second day. I have read some other reviews with all sort of issues chewing through this but not so far for us. Also I do not understand what the issue is with returning the product if found defective right after buying. I have found Amazon.com to be great on returns for defective products. All you have to do is go to your orders and click you need to return with the reason. You can then print a UPS mailing label and either have UPS pick it up at your front door or drop it off at any UPS drop location. How much easier can that be? I am hopeful this chew toy holds up though but if she chews through this one quickly I will be returning to Amazon.com.

Chomp Chomp - Otis loves it

I'm not giving 5 stars for the quality, nor for the company that makes it. Otis (my flat coated retriever) asked me to write this review for him. He has several chew toys but this is by far his favorite. Every evening after his supper, he insists on chomping on this for at least a half hour. As far as the "guarantee". That is non existent. Otis can turn this into a 2 square inch clump in a matter of two weeks. I've written the company several times and have been placed on permanent ignore. So, about every three weeks Otis gets a new one. If your Bowser is a strong chewer like Otis, don't expect a 100% guarantee, but you should expect 100% chewer satisfaction.

"Virtually" means just that

If your dog is a heavy chewer, these will not hold up...but then again, nothing will. These are the best toys I have found for my Lab but have gone through three of them this last year. For the price on Amazon, worth every penny and my dogs love them.

I have a pittbull and these are the only brand of toys that he cant destroy quickly. It takes him about a year to crack the plastic so over all we love it!

I must feel good on the gums antique my dog loves it

My dog has need for chewing, this rubber bone fulfills his need we do fine pieces of it here and there but that's much better than finding that's true or part of my couch here and there
