Wore out too quickly

I am a recreational swimmer and swim freestyle and breaststroke typically twice a week for 30 minutes per session. These jammers didn’t even last 9 months - horrible! The fabric wore through in the posterior portion while the rest of the jammer has held up fine. The fabric needs to be improved or strengthened.

So far pretty decent; worried about color fade

Fits about as expected from other reviews (went up one size from typical pants), feels good in the water. I doubt the (blue) color will hold for too long. I should have thought that choice through better.

Good Speedos

My son used this swimming suit speedos almost daily for about 7 months. He says that they were very comfortable at the beginning, but the drawstring gave him hard time and after a few months the fabric stretched a bit. Overall, these are good.

Solid Suit, Indeed!

As a competitive swimmer, I was always encouraged to order a size down, and I continued with that tradition, even though my physique would hardly be called "athletic" these days. The suit is snug, but not too tight, and should last a bit longer as it naturally stretches with use. This is a simple suit, useful for doing laps at the Y. It would be entirely adequate for a master meet or for a swimmer of any age and ability. Only time will tell how quickly it wears out, stretching beyond recognition and becoming transparent as is the fate of all jammers since time immemorial. I rinse it thoroughly in cold, clean tapwater after every use, squeeze (not wring - never wring!) out the excess water, and hang it to dry, which should slow the degradation process. I pair it with my old (Speedo) drag suit, which has somehow managed not to disintegrate as it chugs on well into its second decade of use, though the elastic waist is no longer elastic and it holds tight with the draw string alone.

Bad quality

Only last 4 months use. Material becomes thinner. Color also changed. Not recommend to buy.

The best

I love the shiny nylon spandex it seems softer than some other brands. I find the cut on these the most supportive also...

It has held up to all the abuse better than my body

I have been wearing the jammer for almost two years and it has taken my 1-2 pool swimming very well. I also wear it to play basketball, jog, and do yoga. It has held up to all the abuse better than my body. In fact, I don't see any noticeable wear and tear after two years. You really cannot go wrong with it. In terms of fit, note that the size is a bit on the small side. If your waist is a 30", buy the 32" unless you really want the compression for it.
