Hours of fun!
My 5 year old son doesn't focus on anything he's not interested in. We had to buy this one because he figured out all of the connections on the one for his age group. This kit has not only kept his attention for over a month, he will play with it for hours a day. The only thing is that the alarms and space noises get a bit on my nerves haha. The fact that he is learning while playing with this toy is enough to deal with the extra noises though ???? I'm really glad he has found something to keep his interest and is fairly easy for him to figure out. The combinations alone are pretty neat. It's fun to sit and learn with him as he goes. My friend actually purchased one as well for her dad!

Perfect Starter Kit
I purchased this kit originally years ago for my older daughter who showed an interest in it. She played with it heavily and it help up (easily 7+ years). When she outgrew the kit, it was put away and forgotten until my new 6 year old daughter came along and found it. She was so enamored by it but was sad that some of the pieces had disappeared over the years and multiple cross County moves. When it came up again for under twenty bucks, I got a text from my girls requesting it. Of course I jumped on it immediately because why not encourage STEM activities, especially in girls. Solo, my 6 year old has built several of the activities and had to trial and error why things like the water alarm and wasn’t “working” (she’s just learning to read as a kindergartener and didn’t realize that salt water was a better conductor than plain water). Her academic vocabulary has grown as I’ve shared with her additional lingo that she didn’t know before. When she outgrows this, I’ll definitely incorporate it into my classroom as a STEM center. For those who are on the fence about these products because the reviews are mostly provided by parents/caregivers of boys… girls love this too.

Super Fun!
This is a great product I purchased it for my 4th-grade classroom and it has stood up to a whole year of wear-and-tear! We still have all the parts and they work well still. I strongly recommend waiting to purchase this science set until it is about half off (like I did) and it is a great value for your money.

Terrific for kids
I think this is one of the best toys (if you can call it a toy) that you can buy for kids. I bought my grandson the smaller set and he likes it so much that I bought this set which has a lot more projects you can do. My grandson is actually only five, but very intelligent and focuses on projects. This stretches him a little, but he gets it done. It is a fantastic learning tool. I’m glad to see here are still several more sense so I can buy him.

Awesome gift!
My 8 year old got to first experience this kit at the public library, and immediately wanted to come home and buy it. It is a fantastic gift for those who love science, experimenting, and creativity. The set comes with great directions that list many options for how to build your snap circuit, along with helpful tips if you want to do your own. You do need to add batteries. This is something kids can easily spend hours doing, and is great alternative to screens.

Awesome learning toy
Bit expensive but easiness to use, proper tutorial and bigger size of all the components makes it awesome. I have purchased it for my 1year 10 months old son and we only assemble the parts. But still he likes it more than other toys, switching it on off and checking the effects. He gives us to assemble based on his desire to see light, fan or sound related circuits. Hope some one manufacturers it in India to reduce the price.

Good Toy for Kids
A very good toys for kids to understand the basics of electrical circuits. It is nearly a year now and kids still enjoy playing with it. The booklet comes with sufficient number of circuit designs. Kids can then use there own imagination to build circuits. Except for the wire+button, which broke, all others parts are in good working condition. Did not observe any rusting issues. It also introduce kids to sensor, LED etc. A very good toy for children. Worth the money. Planning to upgrade.

Completely captivating – this was a big hit this Christmas!
This turned out to be a fantastic gift – our 7-year-old nephew opened this gift on Christmas Eve and absolutely loved the snap circuit projects. He’d finish one, get excited about the results (lights, fans, music, siren, etc.) and want to move on to the next project immediately. It’s a wonderful contraption for cultivating reading and comprehension skills (following detailed instructions), dexterity, patience, and even for building self-confidence. If he missed any components during assembly, the resulting structure wouldn’t respond as expected – so ‘back to the drawing board’ until he achieved the expected effect. We were surprised at how our nephew was immediately drawn into the circuit board tasks – he was so enthusiastic and genuinely excited to build something that lit up, powered a fan or light, or triggered a siren. He said it was “awesome!” but more importantly he showed it was awesome by completing ten or eleven projects in a row, immediately after opening it. I would recommend that you don’t just leave a child to figure it out alone, when it’s first opened. I attribute some of our nephew’s excitement to the fact that his uncle spent a good twenty minutes with him guiding him through the initial projects to ensure his success. It really just fueled his enthusiasm and then he happily worked independently and was thrilled to show off the results of each project. The Elenco snap circuits are truly captivating; they are entertaining while offering a unique learning experience. A couple hours after opening it, our nephew matter-of-factly said, ‘I’ll probably be an electronics engineer when I grow up” and then he proceeded to explain how he thought he could use electronics to work in a bank…. so it definitely fired up his imagination in addition to stretching his attention span. With these results, it’s easy to highly recommend the Elenco Snap Circuits. Tip: Two AA batteries are required and not included; so if you're gifting this, I'd recommend opening the box and including the batteries so it can be enjoyed as soon as it's opened.

WOW! A mini electronics lab for students
A great learning for young minds! Little expensive, but worth it. Your kids need to be little older, say at least 9-10 years to understand the principle and make most out of the circuit toy. A good learning product for science students, aspiring engineers and technicians. It gives lot of idea about electronics, robotics, opens the door of creativity. With various electronics components and chips available in market, this product gives a perfect platform to learn the basics and move up the ladder.

Well made and fun, circuits are repeated
My kid liked that it a lot for a few days. He learned so much about electronics and electricity. That's enough to justify buying it by itself. It has little replay value however and after about 30 circuits, it's pretty much the same stuff over and over.
