Well made canning tools

I decided to can apple butter but had no tools to do so. I was glad to find everything I needed in one kit. The jar handlers are strong and safe. I feel confident pulling quart jars out of the boiling water bath when needed. The magnetic lid handler made boiling the lids and putting them on the jars without touching them simple, safe, and quick. The funnel keeps the glass rim clean, and for my project, the bottom she was just right for making the correct air gap. I did 36 jars with no sealing failures.

a Must!

Perfect set

I've been able to use this set for a recent batch of canning and it makes light work of what would be tricky to do without. They appear to be quite durable and should last a lifetime.

Worked well

Have used the jar tongs and they are useful but the jar funnel is the thing that everyone who ever intends to make jam again should have. So much tidier bottling expeeience, a pleasure!
