Absolutely Great!

It sticks to everything. When you stick something to the wall it’s there for life you can’t get it off the wall but it’s taken the wall with it… so be prepared for that this stuff is meant to be used for permanent situation’s. So that’s what you want, u will get it with this product.

Strong adhesion

I used this to mount a magnetic knife holder to a tile wall in our kitchen and it has worked perfectly. It was handy to use because it could be trimmed to completely cover the back of the magnetic holder.

Durable but forgivable if you need to replace

They have strong adhesion on difficult exteriors like brick and the stickiness is not fickle so you can take them off and place them in a different spot without loosing grip.

Used for our outdoor cameras

I used these to mount one of our outdoor cameras. It was up all winter without budging. I would Highly recommend these for anything you’re wanting to mount outside where it’s impossible to use screws or nails.

Used it for a dash cam and it worked (see update: it fell off)

Update 2: Wanted to also mention that I am now trying a different product from 3M, "Sticky Adhesive Pad Replacement for Car Dashboard Magnetic Phone Mount Base, pop-tech 8pcs 3M VHB Double Sided Sticker Heat Resistance Tape for Magnet Cellphone Holder & Windshield Dash Cam." You can get it here on Amazon, ASIN B08D3LYSLZ. According to their description, it is actually made for dash cams and the like. I attached it yesterday and I am hoping this one might last a little longer. To add, I was able to remove this product from Scotch completely from my windshield and the dash cam with some pulling, fingernail scraping, and using a couple of alcohol wipes. Update 1: It held for just under 3 months, then the dash cam fell off. The tape held to the windshield, but detached from the body of the camera holder. Will have to try something else. I have a BlackVue 650 and it worked great. I did have to cut it to fit, and the red tape side was kind of hard to remove, but it has worked well for me. You do need to make sure you have it positioned correctly before you attach it, because once it is on, it is ON and cannot be moved/adjusted. I did not see many reviews that mentioned how well this might work with mounting dash cams, so I thought I would share my experience. I did clean the glass well before applying it. What I am not too sure about is how difficult it will be to remove it when that day comes, but I guess I will cross that bridge when I get to it. I live in a warm climate area with a lot of hot sun, so I will see how long it lasts. If I run into any issues, I will update this review. I hope it helped, thanks for reading!

THE TAPE HOLDS UP BUT WHATEVER YOUR ATTACHING TO IT DOES NOT!

In my quest to find ways to hold up curtain rods without putting holes in the wall I was using command strip holders but the strips would always dry out within a few months and my curtains would end up on the floor. So I decided to try this as the adhesive strip. It’s very difficult to peel off and almost rubbery in texture. I attach it to the wall - peel the other side - place my command hook into it. Let it set overnight and then hang my rods. This is supposed to be heavy duty - weatherproof - well it’s not. At least in my application- within two days the actual plastic command hook was peeling off - of course causing the rod to fall down - there is barely 1 pound of weight on this thin circular suction rod with sheer curtains for a paned window single door- it’s a struggle to get the tape to peel off without affecting the paint but slow and easy it comes off in pieces never the whole piece at once. I noticed that the side the command strip attached to had some bubbles in it. So I reapply a new strip make sure there are no bubbles - wait about a half hour thus time - attach the command fixture - wait another little bit and put the curtains back up. Within 2 days same - wash - rinse - repeat. The command piece had a smooth flat surface so I have no idea why this tape did not work. Very disappointing especially from a name brand. That’s my experience- so that’s my review !! Hope this helps !!

No great!

I bought this tape to stick some hooks to cupboards so i can hang few things in my kitchen and bathroom. For the first few days they stay put really well and suddenly they keep falling down. Its the same problem with all the other adhesive hooks that i bought recently. Not worth spending money.

It wasn’t up to standard

The adhesive was NOT sticky. Every time I tried to hang something it would always come off. And the tape peel was hard to peel off.

Double sided tape holds my dash mount camera solidly!

Works fine. Doing its job. I just wish Garmin GPS and dash camera base mount spare parts (ie double sided tape) were available from Garmin...

Not impressed would not hold my toothbrush holder on my ceramic tile it kept falling off
