nice castors

Nice castor - looks good and rolls well. Lock mechanism seems to work very nice too. I used these to put under a moving platform I built. They roll nice on carpet and hard floors. In soft carpet they sink in a bit and roll harder, but that is no surprise. I would not call this a problem. I used 2 locking castors and 2 non-locking castors. The mount platform was easy to screw into place. I like that these look good, are low profile, and for a decent price.

Tough and attractive despite their size

These fit nicely inside 2" square tubing and I have a 100lb tube bender on the cart. They are not extremely easy to move around with that kind of weight but they are still better than I expected for the size.

Money wasted.

The product description said "GEL" so I thought they would be soft like a skateboard wheel. Nope. These are a hard, clear consistency which make a lot of noise on a hardwood floor. Money wasted. Live and learn. (Even the one 5-star review for these casters suggests packing them with grease to cut down on noise.) I'll shop for a better product. But hey, they look MARVELOUS!

Decent price, good looking, but not very smooth on rough surfaces.

Easy to install and good looking wheels, but the wheel material was a bit firm. The wheels don't roll very smoothly on my textured porch.

Smooth, clean, ideal.

These are really great. They roll really smoothly. If you have a light load on them, it would be ideal to pack the bearings with grease, so it doesn't make any undesirable sound.

Not made for Rough Surfaces

It was not smooth rolling on concrete. It started cracking a little. Not intended for rough surfaces. Plus it is a very hard material.
