Too Large

I have several pairs of Sam Edelman sandals and love them. This particular sandal runs so large and wide. I wear a size 6 normally. The shoe itself is made well and comfortable but the foot slides in it. So I sent it back.

Sam Edelman sandals

I love my new sandals for next summer, however, this particular style runs big. I had to downsize from a 6.5M to a 5.5M.

Sam Edelman is my go to…

These slides are comfortable, really cute, great thick leather that has not stretched out and the blue is a soft light blue, great with jeans or shorts. I also got them in black. True to size.

Maybe not for sz 5.5

I wanted slides that have thicker soles for long walks for a planned trip. These slides were the perfect choice. It looks good and seems great quality in pictures. Upon receiving: the sole is amazing. A little heavy but that’s expected with good material. The strap…I expected soft braided leather…nope. The braids are so tightly woven that it makes the strap stiff. These may be better for larger sizes but for 5.5, the strap is so wide that I wasn’t able to walk without the strap trying to break my metatarsals. Returning.
