This stuff really works

I put some in my toilet once a month and flush it into my septic tank. It has been years since I have had to have the septic tank pumped out and someone is home 24 hours a day, so my bathroom gets used all the time. This product is worth the price for what it does and I recommend it to anyone who has a septic tank.

Seems to work

Bought hoping it was a more "aggressive" treatment than just the regular Ridex. Hard to say it didn't work since my septic system is working ok, but time will tell.

Protection from septic problems

I'm of the firm belief that this product helps prevent septic backups from excessive material in the tank. I've been using RidX for years and have never had a septic issue. I do also recommend that you have your septic system pumped every two years.

No safety cap on hazardous solution

I’m still not sure I am getting a full 24 oz bottle of Rid-X. I have realized that the label on the back which provides a measurement for each of the 3 doses does not match if I pour 8 ounces in my measuring cup. I find it hard to believe this product doesn’t come with a protective cap. It has labeling such as CAUTION, KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN, etc. I have a safety seal on things like a bottle of water, I buy ketchup that will have a sealed top that needs to be removed before use. The first time I ordered one bottle leaked on the bumpy country drive on delivery. I lost almost 1 month dose. I am also disappointed that my shipper did not attempt to properly secure a potentially hazardous product prior to shipping
