Work well in soil

Needed these to help hold down tarp ends. They work quite well in dirt/soil, not sure how well they'd work in sand. They are well made and solid, price was very fair.

Good quality but don't work on hard ground without putting a pilot hole in the ground first

These are quality made out of decent feeling Steel. My only issue is they are really only designed to work and softer loamy Earth. I live in the desert Southwest and could not penetrate the ground more than about a quarter inch with these. It really isn't the fault of the stakes I should have thought about it before I ordered them. Using them back east in a grassy area would be great.

Quite rugged! Used to hold down a larger muddy 350 Blind...in Tioga co PA...very windy..the stakesthat came with it were laughable, and did not hold! these corkscrew ones are aweaome! Highly recommend.

These work great to secure a tarp over the backyard table for the winter. Even with the weight of all of the snow, they still have not broken free.
