It Protects Me From the Fire

I've had this shirt for about 18 months now. I'm a hobbyist with welding. I use the shirt for mainly SMAW (arc or stick welding). It has never let me down. I feel confident wearing it and have never suffered a burn while wearing it. I will purchase this shirt again and would recommend it for others.

Buttons rusted after 3 wears

Decent shirt but after my husband has worn it 3 times the snap buttons are rusting like crazy!

Very good welding shirt

Does exactly what it is designed to do. I have had no burn through issues. If you normally wear a large, get an xtra-large. In other words, order one size larger than your normal size. You will appreciate the extra space when welding in a hot environment . I have washed this shirt as any normal cotton shirt or jeans, even though the manufacturer states that the fire retardant may wash out sooner. This hasn't been an issue for me. Some welders simply wear a heavy 100% cotton shirt. Most of the time this is not a problem, just keep an eye on your clothing after welding. If you go that route, I suggest you get a tight weave denim, 100% cotton shirt. Practically speaking, this shirt has all the features that you expect from a fire resistant shirt at about the same cost as a new off the rack denim shirt.

Good for the money

Had it for a bout a month, ripped in a couple spots, not a big deal. Only get 50washes before it's no longer FR rated. Once a week washes it is.

Great shirt for the price!

These shirts fit as expected, the material is durable but not too thick for summer. So far they are holding up and they've probably been washed at least 20 times so far.
