Just a holder, the plug/cord shown is not included

Just FYI, the plug and cord you see is not included in this product. It is a holder as described so don't let your eyes fool you. Works fine so long as your cord end fits into the tube.

Rubber hinge must dry out

The product is a good idea to have in your vessel. But the rubber hinge on the cover doesn’t last very long. It would be nice to have easy access for replacements for that part

Not so "Universal"

I ordered Black it came white. I had to significantly dremel sand down my male plug so it would fit into this plug holder. I had a ProMariner Charger so i would have thought that the size/shape of my plug would fit into this "Universal Plug Holder"

Good replacement to the Minn Kota Onboard battery charger

Used it to replace my minn kota outlet for a battery charging port on my boat. The one that came with the charger kept slipping inside due to 2 screws that would not secure the plug well. This product has no screws It has a plastic adapter insert that secures the plug firmly. Now I have piece of mind my batteries are charging.
