Fit my Schwinn 4 Banger perfectly!

I recently bought a 1999 Schwinn 4 Banger from a guy that was just trying to get rid of it because it needed a little work. I made the mistake of buying the bike in the dark, so of course I got it home and started looking at it and the first thing I notice is that the der hanger is broken! I'm thinking DANG! Where the heck am I gonna find one of these? After much research online, this one was the best candidate. Shipping was quick! It's very sturdy feeling, not like the stamped ones. It is a billet piece. Fits like a glove and mounted the new derailer on in minutes.

Snapped in half after less than a year of use

I purchased this 5 months ago. It completely snapped when I was pedaling over a feature on my mountain bike. It didn't even bend like my last hanger that got snagged on branches. I imagine if this was a different aluminum alloy it would be stronger.
