Not a perfect fit, but I made it work.

Since it was not the exact piece I needed, I ended up drilling the rivet to remove the wheel and add it to my pieces. This replaced my plastic wheels with metal, which should last a long time.

Not the EXACT fit!

This was the only place I could find replacement parts. The dimensions were a bit too big! Would not fit in the recessed area of the screen door. Had to enlarge the opening on the screen door, so the mechanism could fit! Had to oil the bushing on the wheels and noticed some play in the wheel bushing. Hope they last awhile Also, one package had only one small screw. Two are needed! Good thing that I kept the old parts and used a screw from the old part. Not completely happy......................But it worked

Finally, the screen door glides

Should have bought these years ago! The bottom of the screen door always dragged a little making it hard to open and close, even after turning the adjustment screw on the old plastic roller assembly to raise door. These metal roller assembly is the only way to go. After replacing with these the door still dragged, but got on the floor and used Phillips screw driver thru each end of door and turned the adjusting screw until each end of door raised a 1/16 inch. Finally my door now glides! The old plastic assembly had to much flex to work correctly. Picture does not show there is a tapped hole on bottom for a screw (provided) used to secure this roller assembly to the door. This tapped hole was a 1/4 inch out of location for my old door, but just drilled another hole in bottom of door 1/4 inch over from the old hole and problem solved. Only took another couple of minutes.

Rolls beter than new

I used to replace my plastic screen rollers about every year and they never worked great. I bought these, they fit my door perfectly and roll so smoothly. The metal ball bearings roll so much smoother and last much longer. I wish I knew about these years ago.
