They remove material in a controlled manner!

These are pretty darn great spindle sander sleeves. The grits seem accurate and comparable to other brands. A month of burning through pine and poplar making reindeer models and they are holding up and wearing down as expected. Durability and longevity are not an issue. The backer does not have a seam that will affect the workpiece or sanding in any way and is made of a very durable material that doesn't show signs of ripping. That said, flip your sleeves/barrels every few uses for good measure and to reduce wear on your rubber spindles. These are currently in a drawer under a WEN sander. The same generic white-label machine that is sold by Ryobi, Powertec, Grizzly, RIKON, PowerMax, Triton, Wood River, Shop Fox, Central Machinery, and countless others. They are all the same identical sander other than the label and paint job. These will work great on all of them. The height/length and diameter of the set are all up to par. As far as sandpaper and workshop consumables go, these are a fantastic choice.

Fantastic

Have been looking for sanding sleeves that go to at least 240 grit and was delighted when I came across these. Was a bit leery at first but was pleasantly surprised. The sleeves fit the rollers perfectly and performed well. They clean well after use and being able to sand to 240 grit cuts down on hand sanding. Removing the sleeves from the rollers was also fairly easy in swapping out grits which was nice. I would recommend and will certainly buy again when they need replacing.

Husband is happy

My husband wanted me to order these for his Craftsman Spindle Sander. He hates to order things on the Internet without seeing them first. He was so happy, these work perfectly! In the rate features I can't answer to longevity because he just installed them last week. As for 'sheerness' - I'm not exactly sure what that means. These fit perfect for his sander.

Excellent Rubber Drums

I purchased these for my Nxtul spindle sander and sanding sleeves. (I will include links below). These drums are very rigid. I was worried they would be some kind of soft rubber or undersized but had no problem. Even at 9°F(woodworking in Minnesota) I could clamp them to the point they would hold the sanding sleeves perfectly without slippage. No box, just plastic bag

Sanding sleeves work well. But these sleeves came in a plastic bag. I also bought another brand, also sold on Amazon, that works just as well, but comes in a box. I like the box better since it is easier to store.

Sloppy manufacturer packaging

They came in a bag. They bang together and get bent up. Boxing them like other sanding belts or discs would save them.

works as advertised

the first thing i did was see if i wasted my money. I took a piece of dried oak and started sanding. It worked great. It not only sanded the piece of very hard oak smooth, it didnt seem to loose its cutting ability as quickly as you would have expected. All in all it did a very nice job of sanding and still going strong. I recomend it and I will buy again when needed.

Fits Harbour Freight oscillating spindle sander

Bought these to replace the ones on my Harbor Freight oscillating spindle sander. HINT: Powertec's Oscillating spindle sander is the exact same as the Harbour Freight. Been working great so far.

Good Fit

Fit my Craftsman oscillating spindle sander purchased many years ago. Was happy to find them as Sears is no longer in business in Canada and Craftsman does not carry any accessories for older tools.
