not quite flat

even after months, the runners are not quite flush with the floor, even after placing weights on them. inserting and removing a cable from one of these runners is a PITA.

Outside use

This product did what I purchased it to do. It went across an outside walkway. Now heavily used however I didn't want to gamble when it was used that someone would trip. Did not try to adhere to walkway for only used for holiday, then taken up, to be used again next Christmas to cover cords fore Christmas lights.

There are better products out there.

I bought this for the 4' size, which can be hard to find. Unfortunately, I wouldn't buy it again. The color was as advertised, but the material extremely stiff. I had to soften it to lie flat by putting it on a radiant heated floor for 24 hours, and even then it was still a bit curled. Then I realized that the channels haven't been cut open--you have to do that yourself. A sharp box cutter did the trick, but I still had to battle to get it to allow small cords into the channels, and my thicker HDMI cable wouldn't fit at all in the center, biggest channel. Instead, I had to use a second cable cord cover from a different manufacturer, leaving me with TWO to step over instead of one. It works, but I can't recommend it.

have this going down a line in my living room for a internet-cord. very sturdy. easy to move around, animals seem to ignore it - another reason for this purchase, no accidentally wire chewing. great product!

Never lies flat

Covers the cords but, after two months, it is still not flat on the floor.

Need to cut it open first

At first I was a little perplexed because there is no way to get an electrical cord through this thing, especially if it has a plug connected to it. Then it occurred to me to slit it open on the bottom (which wasn't difficult to do) and insert the electrical cord that way. Once that was accomplished, it worked fine and appears to be quite sturdy.

Great product, have a screw driver handy

Purchased to hide some power and cat5 in a high traffic area. Definitely roll out the day before and let flatten. I cut to length with my mitre saw no problem. Putting the cable in a little bit of a pain. Have a screw driver handy. Otherwise very sturdy, does the job well. Liked it so much purchased a second one.

Works well, but memory is pretty bad.

I cut two length of about 4ft each. Both have issues with the ends curling up. I tried counter bending it, and leaving weights on it for a few days, but the memory is still there. It is fine, but it could be better.

Rolled up tighter than a snake

This arrives tightly coiled and does not want to be straightened ! I rested a very heavy oak table on it for a week which helped a bit

Will not lay flat - sending back !

It’s shipped coiled which I understand. Put it on the floor weighted for a day, placed it in front of the fireplace a whole day, put it on the deck in the sun for hours - it resumes its “curve” almost immediately. Which means, no matter what your gonna need gorilla tape to hold it down. Think about that before you do it ! Because you’ll want to have every possible wire you’d ever want in there. Because, if you go to pull it up - the floor is gonna want to come up with it. You should be able to use a less aggressive adhesive / tape like command but the constant “pull away” caused by the inability to lay flat pulls the tape away. Not good

Not a great product

I bought this item to have an extension cord covered on my walkway but it came in a smal box, tightly wound. I left it for two days in my home with heavy chairs sitting on it in order to straighten it but it didn’t completely work. It is not sitting flat so really it is not doing it’s job on the walkway as now I have an obstacle that is more of a hazard than the extension cord. I think that this item should be shipped in a small but long box so that it does not have to be unwound. I would not recommend this product.

Disappointed

Item pictured as strips and came as a roll which is useless as it wont sit flat on the floor. Also the channels underneath are sealed you have to cut then open. No mention if either if these and no craft knife to cut it
