Does the Job Well............

Put 5 new Boxwood plants along side a garage that faces west and is on a lake. We get brutal below -0 temps and wind chills Plus piles of snow and hungry deer, so I needed to protect my new landscaping investment. These "jackets" should do the trick. Installation is simple. Wrap around shrub, tie sides together at mid section, then pull the draw string at the bottom and tie, and the top and tie. Done. It also comes with what I call baby diaper pins if you need to customize it more. Be sure you adjust it so the small openings on the sides faces away from the wind if your plant is a bit small for the size jacket you ordered, or use the diaper pins. Literally takes a minute per jacket to install. I also like it that they'll fold up flat for easy storage. I plan on keeping the heavy duty plastic bags they came in just for that purpose.

Easy to use

Amazon Prime....these arrived in the nick of time before our temps dropped to single digits. They just the right size for my plants and are very easy to get in place quickly and provided adequate protection to most plants. My most cold intolerant aloe plant survived several nights of freezing temps with little damage. I have used them several times. Only criticism: the small ribbons on the side are beginning to fray at the end. Quick fix was to tie small knot on end.

I like the concept

Easy to use. Large enough to sufficiently cover small shrubs and rose bushes. Warning: be sure wrap is tightly closed or anchored at bottom on small plants such as miniture rose bushes. High wind blew mine away even though drawn as tightly as cover permits. Has a neat look. I always used burlap and stakes, this was much easier and looks better. Going through the winter will tell if the product is worth while, stays in place and protects plants.

So far, so good

I put these on my rhododendron, mountain laurel, and small rose bush in mid-late November. They were very easy to put on and have stayed secure through torrential rains, high winds, and one snow storm. Still waiting for bitter cold weather (like single digits) to see how they protect the bushes.

Defect - one of three in the package missing drawstring

The design seems to be good, but one of the three shrub jackets was missing the drawstring on one end. Very disappointing. I had already installed 2 of the jackets so I am not going to return.

excellent to keeping shrubs warm in the winter

Very convenient and pretty looking. We had a lot of high and low temps this spring so I didn't remove the shrub jacket right away. When I did I noticed my hydrangea's were already pushing out new growth. Due to that new growth my plants this year look better then ever. Very happy!!!

They work!

My small Japanese Boxwoods survived this winter thanks to these Plumstone Shrub Jackets, I'm sure. So easy to use and configure throughout the season. Thanks so much for offering this product.

Nice looking and durable

These are very durable and nice looking. I have them around 5 bushes in my front yard and they withstood 70 mile an hour winds recently and never budged
