Excellent blanket

This Spring brought some crazy weather so far! Two days for us New Englanders was 90°F. And poor Hami had not completely shed his winter coat as of yet. I ordered this for him and it helped him stay cool. It's silky and safe for him. Would absolutely order again and would recommend to anyone!

This is a great dog blanket. Its cool to th touch every time I pick it up. I wouldn't say it's chew proof though. My puppy's sharp teeth already put a small hole in it. Overall it's still a nice lil blanket.

You will not regret ordering one ... or more than one!

I do not have air conditioning, but I do have an older cat with cancer. I just want her to be as comfortable as possible for the time she has left. I ordered a PetFusion cooling blanket in Small. It arrived and was even better than I hoped. It is soft and silky ... and cool to the touch. I ordered a second Small -- as well as an X-Large for myself. (Repeat: I do not have air conditioning.) The cat has a tumor in her upper left jaw against one of her left sinuses. She is on AD and will sometimes 'blow out' blood-tinged mucus and food when she sneezes. (If you have chronic sinus problems, you will understand what I mean.) Some drooling was also an issue. I folded and refolded the first blanket so that she would have a clean side on which to lay. as I waited for a second one to arrive. By the time the second did arrive, the first one was filthy. I then (a) soaked the dirty blanket in cold water for thirty minutes, (b) changed out the dirty water for clean, (c) soaked the blanket for another hour, (d) transferred it to a mesh laundry bag, and (e) washed it in a regular, eco-cold load of laundry. Between the soaking and machine washing, it cleaned up beautifully! I hung up the blanket using a skirt hanger because my dryer was already working on one load. It was almost dry when I went back later to put it in the dryer. I did find two very faint stains, but I had to examine the blanket front and back twice to find them. Had I ordered the Cool Brown color, I probably wouldn't have been able to find the stains at all. I cannot compliment this product enough.

Helps with Arizona heat

Got this to help try and keep the cat cool during Arizona summers. We have a skylight that allows a lot of light and heat in the house. We laid this blanket on the tile to help with the cooling effect. Cat took a day or so before trying it but he gravitates to it everyday now. I will say it doesn't feel cold to the touch but he seeks it out during the hottest part of the day so it must be helping. He ignores it most of the day otherwise so that tells me all I need to know.

Works

We had a rescue racoon that could not have any type of wires ect around her. Placing this blanket in her log kept her much cooler in the humid summer heat. She was always wrapped up in it over wading in her cold water pond. This product is safe for possible chewers. Can be washed in the washer when needed, and is actually cool to the touch everytime I tested it out.

Happy Dachshund

My senior dachshund who has cushings loves to burrow under his fuzzy blankets to sleep which often resulted in him getting overheated since he cannot regulate his body temp well. He now has this cooling blanket under him at night and we no longer have an issue. He sleeps ALL night since he’s cool and comfy, which means I too get to sleep all night. We love it so much we got another. Seriously, give it a try!!

Cools my dog on the hottest days

My dog has his bed in the bedroom next to mine. I put a bed for him in my bedroom but he hardly ever uses it. I put this cooling pad on his bed in my room and now he sleeps on it every night. Obviously we are in the middle of summer, don't know if he'll use it during the winter, but he loves this thing. I also have one on my couch and both the cat and the dog use it. Had the couch one first and they loved it so much I got the one for his bed. These are a little expensive but they're worth every penny (for the comfort of the pet on a hot day, definitely worth it).

Buen material pero no se siente fresca

Realmente no hay gran diferencia entre alguna otra manta para perro, la compre por el calor que hace en esta temporada y realmente no se siente tan fresca, mi perro prefiere el suelo, por el precio no lo vale ????????????
