BEWARE if have kuhli loaches, they can hide inside through back hose opening, check! Cheap but cute.

This works and looks cute in the aquarium so even though it's obviously cheap plastic it does what it's supposed to do. If you have a very strong air pump this will keep the lid open all the time though. I suggest an adjustable air pump. The hose attached to the treasure chest to connect to your air source is small, so make sure not to use an air source with larger than standard size tubing, it won't fit. EDIT: Make SURE if you have kuhli loaches that you can't seem to find you look inside this treasure chest or watch to see if one swims out of the back of this! There's an opening in the back for the air hose that is big enough for a kuhli loach to swim inside. If you're cleaning your tank or transferring to a new one *don't* set this treasure chest outside the water unless you know 100% there's not a loach in there. They can fit in small spaces and prefer dark areas. I had one living inside this treasure chest. When I got a bigger tank I transported the entire chest in a jug of aquarium water to the new tank rather than waiting for it to come out again and trying to catch it or risk hurting the loach by opening up the inside of the treasure chest. The inside of the chest has a piece with the 'treasure' on it that is actually removable and inside is a tunnel like area big enough for a loach. They are amazing creatures.

Tiny but so cute

This was way smaller than I had imagined but it’s so cute! Then it’s actually a bubbler which I didn’t realize when I ordered it bc I thought HH to it was just decor. Overall good product just way smaller than pictured.

Playful, but hard to regulate.

This is my second treasure chest, so you can imagine that having it makes me smile. The only problem for me is that the whole in the chest that creates the bubbles gets plugged. I can fix it with a straight pin, but that means pulling it out of a set up tank. All in all, still pleased.

Needed some help

I really wish this was plug and play but I had to glue weights to the corners of the lid to get it to behave as advertised. I also split the air flow with an air stone bar and lowered the flow to the chest by a lot. Very fun bit of animation after all that

Cute

Cute little addition to my son's 10g aquarium. 4 stars instead of 5 because it's a little finicky - air pressure has too be *just* right or it gets stuck open.

Works perfect

I've wanted one of these since I was kid. It works wonderfully, but you absolutely need an air "regulator" or "control valve." Without one, even the smallest pump will give too much air and the chest will stay open. I bought the "Fluval A1175 Air Plastic Control Valve" and works perfect.

Takes some finagling, but so cute

This little treasure chest is so cute. Very cheap, but does everything I need it to do...with some modifications. It's very light so I had to open it up and put some stones under the plate that the little jewels are on. It's easy to take apart, just allow yourself plenty of time to set it up how you want it. Rinse it before you put it in your tank because some of the glitter fell off. Also, buy some airline tubing suction clips to anchor your airline, which can have a mind of its own!

Very very cheap plastic used. Not worth the money paid for it. I'd pay no more then £2.00 however I'd never buy it if I physically saw it. I will only buy from here again

Doesn't bubble as expected

Even after adjusting the water flow from the pump to the treasure chest, the chest just stays open. Bought for my daughter how was looking for the chest to open and close continously. The hinges on the chest aren't the greatest so it just stays open all the time.

Looks Good in My 20 Gallon Tank.

Adds animation to the tank. Cleans up easy enough when cleaning the ornaments. No issue with the finish coming off or the hinges sticking. You do need an adjustable valve on the the pump to properly operate this ornament.
