I give these wine opens as gifts

I have had this wine opener for two years and never replaced the batteries. I drink about one bottle a week plus 24 bottles each year when our daughter buys me the Costco Advent Calendar of wines. Before I bought the opener, I read a review that read something like: If my house was on fire and I could only save one item, I would run out the door with this opener. I have to agree , but I would take my computer and family as well - not in that order.

Was able to get the wine opener to work. The blue light will be helpful to see the screw going into the cork. Haven’t tried it on an actual bottle yet, but when I do, I will adjust my review.

Amazing device

Despite the price, this is a little well-constructed machine. It has heft and works flawlessly to remove and discard the cork. As with everything else, read the instructions ... especially the warning regarding keeping the bottle straight on a table when using, not at a slant.

Easy to Use

I've tried several of this type of corkscrew. What's nice about this is the clear window at the bottom. Many don't have that which makes it difficult to center the screw on the top of the cork. The quality seems a little less than some, but functionally it works great. So I think it's a great value.

Nice Opener

Ozeri OW13A Gusto Electric Wine Opener, Black would make a great hostess gift. The box will fit into a gift bag or is pretty simple to giftwrap. It is very simple to set-up and use as well. I don't have to rely upon my husband to get those pesky corks out of the bottle.

Looks nice works well. I ended up screwing the seal cutter part to my bench and use that as a stand.. if you do that be careful when you do it
