Salt
I loved these however the salt shaker holes are so fine it seems more like a pepper shaker. Since I use kosher salt I’m going to have to buy regular table salt and see if that works

Great shakers....
I had the same set several years ago and my new set is greatly improved. The salt gets filled from the top instead of the bottom and the old set had a plastic insert on the bottom so the salt usually came out when you put it down. Now nothing comes out and the holes in the salt are a little smaller so people who cannot have much salt don't get a huge amount the minute they use it on their food. Look great also. Thankyou

smaller than normal holes for salt shaker
The set is attractive and easy to use, however, the holes for the salt seem smaller than normal. We don't use much salt, so it's not a problem for us, but if you do, you will be shaking this shaker for a while to get the desired amount.

Disappointed
I had an Olde Thompson tall salt shaker and pepper mill that I loved and used for many years. I purchased these smaller ones to replace them. The grinding function on the pepper mill is difficult to control and gets stuck. I wish I had just kept my old ones.

Sharp looking and functional
Even nicer than I thought they would be. They are very nice looking, easy to clean, the pepper mill works well. I prefer a pepper mill to a pepper shaker. My husband prefers a salt shaker to a mill, so this set gives us both what we want.
