It works
Came with one of the mounting flanges bent. I measured the output of my 24V model and it is close to 27V but doesn’t seem to be hurting anything. As has been noted, it does make a noticeable hum. While installing it, I found if I pressed firmly against it I could no longer hear it. So if I find it bothering me, I’ll figure out how to secure it tighter to hopefully quiet it.

Works but buzzes loudly
This transformer works, but it buzzes loudly. I ended up replacing with the Maxdot transformer of the same specs, which is completely silent.

Works well with Amazon thermostat
Older furnaces only have two wires going to the thermostat and don’t support smart thermostats that require 24 volts. This allows for a hard wire install and works perfectly with the Amazon thermostat for a reasonable price. It was quite an ordeal running wire inside the wall and hardwiring into an available 110v power source but worth the effort in the long run.

Took a beating in shipping!
Poor shipping packaging! Box destroyed, metal mounting brackets bent over. Imagine how much force it takes to bend that metal frame! Yes, it seems to work, but disappointing!

powers my video doorbells
my original door bell was way to under powered to work my 2 ring doorbells.now everything work and i still have the same chimes,2 different sounds-frond door/back door.so far it is keeping my doorbell battery charged so i do not have to remove the doorbell the charge the battery

Works for 2 Arlo wired doorbells
We used this for two doorbells (front and side doors) for the Arlo wired video doorbells. An old transformer didn't work with them. This works great!!! We also had an electrician install 18 guage wires from the doorbells to the chime box. Our house is from the 1950s and the old wires just didn't do the job. All is working well now.

Solved my Arlo Essentials Wired Doorbell issues
I originally had a 16V transformer which worked fine with my Arlo Wired Doorbell. We lost power one day, and the doorbell never booted back up. I was able to reset the doorbell, but it just started alternating white and amber on the LED. Turns out this means the doorbell isn't getting enough juice. Replaced my transformer with this one, and the doorbell came back to life. What a relief!

Upgraded for my Ring Video Doorbell Pro
I replaced my 43+ year old doorbell transformer with the Newhouse 24V, 40VA transformer when I installed my Ring Video Doorbell Pro. Whether or not it is easy to install depends on where your current doorbell transformer is located. Mine was located in the attic next to a junction box that supplied current to a light and the furnace. To keep the wires from being exposed, I replaced the old junction box with a new, larger one that allowed me to mount the doorbell transformer directly to the box. I did all of this after cutting power to the box first, of course. For you sharp eyed viewers, you will notice there is one cable that is no longer there. That is because the third cable dead-ended in a separate junction box. That junction box was used for a power ventilator that is no longer there and will not be replaced since the roof now ventilates via ridge vents.

Worked perfectly for TWO ubiquiti G4 doorbells
This item does exactly what it says it does - powers multiple video doorbells, in our case two Ubiquiti G4 Doorbells - works as intended, doesnt get overly warm, and is dead silent. Would purchase again if needed.

UL Listed transformer on Amazon.ca - works with Eufy Battery doorbel with Mechanical chime
Bought this since it was UL listed and Eufy recommends 30VA transformer for the battery doorbell to work with existing Door bell wire. My house has 2x doorbells. Replaced the front door with Eufy battery doorbell. Both door bells works flawlessly with this transformer. There are many copy cats transformer sold on Amazon.ca which are not UL listed. This is one has better build quality than the other cheap copies. Installation was easy and straightforward.

Perfect for upgrading doorbell.
I upgraded my doorbell to a smart one. My transformer was very old and couldn't handle the new doorbell. This transformer solved that issue. It's easy to install. I would recommend watching YouTube videos on how to safely install a transformer.
