Semi difficult to apply, not runny, and easy to clean.
Used this flux paste to solder a 32 pin ATMEL 90USB162 onto an RFID USB reader with a soldering iron. Paste is thick, so it does not dispense easily. Flux remained a thick paste on the PCB pads when applied. Did not have any issues with it being runny through out the soldering process. No problems with bridging either. Flux was easy to clean after the chip swap was finished. I will continue to use this brand flux paste for my electronic assembly occupation.

Awesome product
Works as intended. Large syringe style allows for more controlled use..

decent flux
The flux works well. Little hard at dispensing compared to some but it does the job just fine. Clean up it is a but harder to clean then some others but good flux for the price.

Excellent flux for fine electronics soldering
An excellent product that forms a good base for the adhesion of soldier, lead or lead free. No clean up required on delicate circuit boards.

Is flux
It's flux! It's in a syringe! It's magic! Only gripe is that the plunger doesn't really stay in the syringe until you've used a certain amount - really a non issue

Active Flux
There is some misunderstanding out there on the term "no clean". It is still best to clean the flux residue after soldering with 95% isopropyl but "no clean" means the flux is an activated type and you don't have to pre-clean the PCB board traces for best results. Great flux pen. I gently heated the pen and tip a bit with my hot air gun before using the first time and after that time, no heat, just use moderate pressure on the plunger to dispense small amounts. Essential for SMT device rework.

Tres bon.

There are better alternatives this is a bit stiff
If you look at what louis rossman (Youtube) uses in his videos its a grey appearing flux which flows with ease. This stuff is more like a gel than a paste. Its not easy to push it through the syringe. I've found that warming it up with the hot air station gets it flowing much better (Also blast out the cap if you have excess flow in there too it will come out) I don't know where the no clean part comes into it because its like all flux it leaves a sticky residue. Using 99% iso alcohol and a good scrub gets rid of most of it, but can't help feel an ultrasonic clean would be needed if you were in the business of handling customers items. I wouldn't recommend it based off the reasons listed above. Will look for something better.

Does the job, but with some niggles.
To start on the positive, this stuff does work. I think it is quite low temperature because it dries/burns off reasonably quickly at higher temperatures, but you just have to replenish. It loses a star because of the difficulties in use (much of which has been noted by previous reviewers). It is difficult to dispense as its really too thick for the syringe type applicator. The applicator itself is a sort of two-part syringe where the plunger bit isn't well fitting into the syringe body (even with the rubber ring on the plunger which I suppose is to keep it in place). This arrangement seems more for the convenience of the manufacturers packing and distribution methods than consideration for ease of use. Come on Chaps! Doing jobs like this already needs three hands without the syringe constantly falling apart. This leads into my last point, which is price. This flux is always dear (well I think so at over a tenner a tube), but even accepting that, surely it's possible to improve the usability of this stuff for the price it is? How much would it cost, for example, to use a syringe which doesn't keep falling to bits?

BRILLIANT STUFF! Here's some advice!
BRILLIANT STUFF! Firstly I've read on here users complaining that they are unable to push the plunger down as the flux is too thick & dense. You need to lay the whole syringe onto a warm radiator for 5 minutes, it will then come out nice and easy when warm. It will also go a long way, you wont need much, just a little bead along the IC pins. A word of advice, get yourself some 99.9% purity Isopropyl rubbing Alcohol and some cotton buds as although it does say No Clean, you will need to remove some access flux to leave a nice clean PCB and crisp solder joints. Good Luck!

Highly unusable :(
It is impossible to push the flux through. Followed the advice from one of the reviews and put it on the radiator for a while, then it works... for... 5 mins and it solidifies again. And to be honest, radiator solution is only good for winter months. Imagine a bar of candle in a syringe, this is how the consistency is. Flux needs to be usable at room temperature without additional heating. Otherwise, once it is on the PBC, it works just well.
