Seemingly, this works, as advertised, when the bagels are freshly-baked out of the oven ...

What I liked was that when I received the bagels freshly-baked, it worked as advertised. Disappointingly, however, after a day or two in the refrigerator, they somewhat moisten up. As a result, the slicing procedure becomes "moist," as well. As a result, I am forced to use the old-fashioned slicing using a sharpened knife.

Doesn't cut large bagels

Advertised to cut large bagels - up to 5". It does not.

Great bagel cutter!

Cutting bagels. Husband has only use of one hand, so I wish it had some sort of rubber on the bottom of it to keep it stable and not lift up after he cut it, as his other hand can’t hold it down. But he loves it.
