Good construction, easy cleanup, very heavy

We just received this grill pan with the panini press lid. It was very well packed and arrived a day early. Today we tried it out on grilled sandwiches with ham, basil and fresh mozzarella. Followed the instructions and the sandwiches came out perfectly grilled and they were tasty. When the pan had cooled down a bit I put some hot water in it, waited about 10 minutes and then rinsed it out - clean as a whistle. Being brought up in the era of nothing but cast iron pans for cooking (yes, I'm in my 80s) I knew not to use detergent as it spoils the finish, and to make sure it was completely dry (not a problem in Arizona at this time of year). It was easy to make the two way striated grill marks on the sandwiches (turn the pan, not the sandwich!). I'm pretty sure this will work with pork tenderloin pieces (cut off a whole tenderloin), and we'll try it out on thin steaks. So far, so good!

Not worth it

The first time I used it the red enamel literally started melting it doesn't heat up well or cook evenly and no matter how much cooking spray you use everything sticks. I'll just stick to my normal cast iron skillet

Cleaning Nightmare

Cooks great BUT No matter what I did couldn't get it to not stick and be a cleaning nightmare

This pan is not 14”. IT IS 11 inches

I got this because it said it was 14” and but it costs $20 more than a Tramontina pan that’s 11” but this pan is in fact 11”!!! IT’S NOT 14”!!

Very nice pan and panini press.

For the price this is a great product. Good for steaks, burgers and sandwiches. Well made and very pretty.

Megachef Enamel Cast Iron Pan with Matching Grill Press, 11 Inch, Red

Mediocre at best. Would have been much better if it were without ridges...I had a feeling and tried it any. Just an overpriced panini press....but not impressive for steak or other proteins. Also very heavy to handle

Nice Quality

Nice grill pan! The grill notches are perfect for searing and the enamel coating is beautiful. Very well made and should last a long time with proper care.
