Can be adjusted for proper fit
Pros: 1. Strong magnets keep cabinet doors closed that try to push themselves back open. 2. If you screw in the magnet too close or too far from the cabinet door, you can loosen the magnet screws and adjust the magnet position forward and backward. 3. Metal plate is longer on one half than the other, which allows for adjustment when aligning the metal plate with the magnet. 4. This is a much lower price than other listings. 10 cabinet magnet sets for only $10 is cheap. Cons: 1. There are different screws. When you peel back the tape covering the three compartments holding the metal plates and screws, the first compartment has different screws than the other two compartments. The flat-headed screws for the metal plates are all in the first compartment while there are round-headed screws in the remaining two compartments. I used up the flat-headed screws before I realized there were only round-headed screws left. I had to remove the screws I put in already in order to have flat-headed screws for the rest of the metal plates. They should have equal amounts of each type of screw in each compartment. 2. The color is kind of ugly. It'd be better if they were white.

Inexpensive serviceable magnetic catch
Nothing fancy, just a plain small magnetic catch with a plastic body. Has the proper "float" of the magnet within the plastic body, so the magnet adjusts to the door and strike plate. Have had ones with a fixed magnets, and they do not work well at all, unless you are meticulously careful with installation -- and then they work themselves out of alignment. But these seem to do the job just fine. Comes with catch, strike plate and matching phillips-head screws. No problems with installation, if you are careful. You should drill pilot holes for the screws if the wood is hard. A little vix-bit works wonders for the strike plate pilot hole. Careful on the screws. They are phillips, so will cam out. I set my Bosch drill to the lowest clutch setting -- 1 -- and it works like a charm every time. Absolutely no problems with the small screws. Fairly strong magnet. Time will tell how these catches hold up. By the way, despite the ambiguity in the description, this is for a 10-pack, just as shown in Amazon's photograph. Update 23 Oct 2013 Still working fine after a year and a half. The measurements given in the description do not match the ones I got. Mine are 1/2 inch thick, just a bit over 1-1/16 from front to back (including the mounting ears), and 2-1/16 from side to side (including the mounting ears). Center to center for the two mounting screws is about 1-5/8. The strike plate is 1-1/16 by 7/8.

Used for a large carved Mexican cabinet
These work really well for our large Mexican cabinet. The original fasteners were loose and falling apart. My husband didn’t complain about how they were installed and did it pretty quickly. We had to use four of them. Wish it came in a smaller kit but that’s OK it was a good deal.

Cheaper than in stores.
Looked in Home Depot and Lowes for these and they're $1.69 a piece, so this 10 pack is cheaper. These are nice quality, easy to install, and do what you need them to do. The metal plates even have little indented points on each corner to grab onto the wood so they are less likely to spin over time. Tip for lining the metal plates up. Put a short, flat end screw through the hole, and put the plate on the magnet. Put a tiny drop of paint on the end of the screw and close the door lightly, the paint will leave a mark right where the screw needs to go to install the metal plate.

A very sturdy, sensible and reliable magnet.
We use these in all the dark, stained wood, built-in cabinets we've made around our house. I was concerned if the nylon would be robust enough, but these work fine and are plenty sturdy. I'm not sure if I'd use them outside where the temps can drop super low. That might shorten it's life (?). A metal surround would be the only thing that would make this magnet better (which are available), but we chose to save a few $ and went with the nylon/plastic type. These are a great value for the price. We like our cabinet doors to be inset, sitting flush with the face frame. These magnets catch the door and keep it closed flat. We, personally, use them top and bottom on our doors to prevent warping. So far, so good, after 10+ years. They do make a "click" sound as they grab. We've never used them in the kitchen as they may be obnoxious clicking all the time.

Medium strength
I like these cause they were easy toi install I use a battery drill and for the most part worked on all the cabinets really well. Although I say medium strength some may find them strong.I only had one magnet that would not hold door closed because of warping in door and magnet pull out .Overall for the price they work real well. Thinking of getting more for bathroom cabinets also ,but not 10 pack.

I made a few cabinets for people, and needed something to keep the door closed.. These work perfectly! A solid, inexpensive product, that does exactly what it is supposed to. Highly recommend ????

Quick shipping/ strong magnets
Good magnets, as was said they are very strong so be aware, I used them for garage cupboards so they worked just fine for me, the only downside is the screws that are supplied are cheap quality, but for the price you save on the cost of the magnets certainly justify buying screws at your local hardware store. 4/5 stars

Great poduct and seller
The product is high quality and the value is great. The only thing is that the color is not actually a standard brown, its more tan brown. So if you need to match more precisely with darker browns, maybe get it in black.
