Not exactly what I expected

I wanted a white light snowflake tree topper. That’s what I ordered that’s what it’s labeled as but who ever pre-tested it failed to match the color to product label.

All good. Bright white, can be seen from both sides

Had for about a week - all good. We wanted a bright white (not warm white) to work with the bright white lights on the tree and that worked well (it is not at all "blueish" like some of the pictures). It fades in and out of brightness every few seconds (to about half brightness and not off) and that is a nice/gentle effect. There is a small transformer (1" cube or so) that is about 18" on the cord from the star but it is very light and easily concealed in the tree. It can be seen from both sides so great for a tree in a window. You can't change the LEDs since they are all enclosed but those should last a very long time.

Beautiful - love that it plugs into the lights on my tree - not a separate battery pack

I hunted hard for this one. I have bright (cool) white LED lights on my tree, but finding a tree topper that matched proved harder than I thought. My tree is not a pre-lit one; we have to wind those cords around (but I don't want to buy another tree when our 30 plus year old tree is still beautiful). I kept finding LED lights for tree toppers with a separate battery pack. I get why those individuals with pre-lit trees want that, but I wanted to plug into our existing lights and have everything done with one push of a button. It's beautiful - white, not blue, but that bright cool white of LED lighting. I was concerned about "flashing" (having a special needs son sensory issues), but found no problems at all. It's a very gentle, smooth gradual change - a simple kind of twinkling that is pleasing, not overwhelming. You can see the light from both sides. As an added benefit - I did not pursue getting a tree topper that projects on the ceiling because the space between my tree top and the ceiling isn't very big - it wouldn't look very good. But with the light coming out of both sides of this item with the gentle changes - it looks beautiful on my ceiling even though the topper is just a few inches away.
