Better than the original…

The original wz installed by a major plumbing company here n town (Tulsa, OK) flip’n idiots! After 18 months it began to leak after 1 hr of attempting to tighten the darn thing back down, I disassembled the entire drain & that wz that only time that I cld get it to tighten down. But once reassembled it acted as if it wz stripped. Time & time again it wld tighten down or up n this case. And then once again lose its tightening ability (aka stripped). So I order this as a replacement & it worked like a charm. Wham! Bam! & DONE! The threads appear to b a lil’ more aggressive or course… The nut is also larger and this went on the very 1st time w/o issue! And… no more leaks… Thx!

Fit as needed.

I went to home depot and they didn't have anything this small for my application. My sink is in my toy hauler. Toy hauler is 20 years old and was leaking. Bought two of these and replaced both sides of the sink. Throw the gasket that comes with it in the trash and use plumbers putty. Gives you a more level finish and will not leave standing water. The gasket is too thick. Overall, this appears to be a decent product and i would recommend it for sinks with the smaller holes. 2inch -1 &3/4

Solved my problem

I was replacing the faucet and all plumbing under my utility sink which is a huge, deep cast iron 40 year old type. The sink strainer was definitely showing it's age. I found out that this big sink uses a bar sink type of drain adapter. This worked perfectly.

take your time it works just fine

Ideal in a camper sink.

Bought this to put in a sink that I salvaged from an old travel trailer to put in my truck camper. Easy to fit, no adjustment to drain or sink needed. The plug works well (I thought it looked like it wouldn’t fit tightly but it seals perfectly) and it performs as you’d want it to. Recommended.

They look really good and are easily installed. Be sure to put a bead of plumber's putty before installing them in the sink. Went in the kitchen and bathroom sinks in my 2011 Sprinter camper.
