Good product for exterior switch on a house.

This is about the best option I've seen for a outside switch while keeping a nice appearance. I used this with a vinyl siding block, but I see no reason It couldn't work on a weather outlet box. Note, you must furnish your own Decora switch to use under this cover.

Good outdoor switch cover

Easy to install, seems very weather tight. A good product. If I have any complaint it is that the rocker movement is very stiff and loud, but that may soften with use.

Looks OK. Functions ok.

I really wanted to use this style switch. It took a bit of tinkering to get the switch pressure to work for me. The look is a bit bulky but works fine.

We like it.

Looks good. Works well. Only complaint I have is that I wish the gasket they provided was a little thicker. We have vertical siding with gaps between the slats and there is a space there water can get through.

Best looking weatherproof switch cover.

Wish these were available years ago. This is the best alternative to the ugly lever type covers. Customers love them.

Works great for an outdoor fountain

When building our new patio, I was told I needed to install a fountain, so I decided it might be nice to be able to turn the internal pump on/off when needed. I placed a switch with this switch cover in a box inside one of the cabinets of our outdoor kitchen. So it's outdoors, but not directly in the weather and I can't speak to its performance in that environment. However, given its design, I'd have no issue placing it over a $4 cast metal outdoor electrical box and sticking it out in the rain since it provides a nice seal. It's a bit thick to allow for the mechanism that fits over top of a decorator style switch, but it's a whole lot better looking than the old "rotating arm" type, and much better sealed against weather than the simple flip up covers. When I purchased this the company was only making one and two gang units, and colors were limited. Hopefully they'll expand the line. Highly recommended.

Color in the pic is off but its a great product.

Functionally it does its job well as an exterior grade weatherproof switch. It is constructed solidly of a real rock hard plastic type of material and has a solid flexible rubber gasket on the rocker switch. There are a minimal number of parts and I believe this will last a long time. Note the color of this item is gray as stated in the description. I bought it thinking it was white. Shame on me but doesn't that picture look like its white? The photo is misleading. This is why I gave it 4 stars.

This is just a cover to put over your own decora light switch but it works well enough

Just to be clear, you need your own switch under this, it's just a cover with a rocker in it and a flexible plastic membrane protecting your switch underneath from moisture. I had a 3 way switch on hand so it's not a big deal and the gray color matches the gray used on plastic conduit and JB's well.

Great for damp / wet areas

We use these in our bathing room where we wash / dry animals. Its more like a wet room so with these our electrics are protected from the moisture and damp.

Great item

This item is hard to find in local stores. Its exactly what they show it to be. Works great. If you need a switch for outdoor use, this is the item to buy. Love it, would recommend it.
