not too thin, not too thick, just right

Product was perfect for our bamboo cutting board and our bamboo bathroom stool. The cutting board is actually used for setting hot pots on and we had it for over 10 years. (occasionally, someone does use it for it's intended purpose). The bamboo bathroom stool has been in our shower for over 2 years.. We regularly apply the oil on it and it looks like brand new. We usually apply and allow to soak in and dry before using in the shower again.

Safe and clean way to oil

I got this product because my wife and bought for me a beautiful cutting board made of different types of wood. We have other items that I have oiled with olive oil. I wanted this oil because of its ultimate safety in using. While it darkens the wood, it is much less than olive oil. Used on my new cutting board and one made special for me by my neighbor, a bread cutting item my neighbor made with thin wood slats in a wood tray that catches crumbs below where you cut, custom made wooden spoons and spatulas. Most of this had never been oiled so the first coat was sucked right up. Even after second coat I let items sit to dry and hardly any oil was left on surface.

Works well but bottle leaks.

Like the oil, but the bottle leaks a little every time you use it. Makes a mess on the surface where you store the bottle. I decanted it into a pump bottle to solve the issue. If the bottle dispenser was better I would have given it 5 stars.

The product is fine, can't cancel the subscription

The oil is great, it will probably last me a year or more. I have not yet figured out how to cancel the subscription so I don't end up with a 10 year supply.

Works great

Picked up a large and cheap round cutting board at a certain Lobby for Hobbies that needed a little something extra to make it look its best. This brand was highly rated and worked great! Put a coat on and let it sit for an hour, and then a second overnight. The board looks great and doesn't feel oily at all.

Just what my cutting boards needed

I had some bad cutting boards, i lightly sanded then back down, rinsed em and when fully dry i started soaking them in this stuff. What a difference. Now i just touch up as needed every month. All my cutting boards are better then ever! You don't need anything else but this stuff

Best oil for the price!

Bought another “food grade” mineral oil for my boards but turned out not to be food grade at all. Just a heads up for anyone looking for a product of this type. This one I LOVED!!!

Needed.

I used this oil on all our wooden kitchen accessories. From our cutting boards to everything with a wooden handle. Having had our wooden items for over a year with no oil applied, they really needed it. After applying 1 coat, the wood looked more vibrant and felt better.

Excellent for endgrain boards

Soak it right to it, great stuff. No smell. Use their wax product after once you see it getting dry, use it some more cause it makes it look nice on the counter. Put more of this oil on if it looks too dry than use more of the wax stuff they sell in a bottle on it. Endgrain soaks the oil up well. Make sure you keep both sides of the board oiled if its end grain (also if not but its not quite as important and you'll spend more on end grain cause it's better but not necessary). If you don't keep both sides oiled it'll split, don't question what i'm saying just do it, think about it if you need to but just oil both sides well. even if you don't use the side with feet its important you oil it. cause you need to and splitting). mine hasn't split cause we oil both sides, some people have this issue cause they don't. ***edit more than a year later, a question about it prompted me to. For some reason i wasn't able to reply to Sylvain. It works like stain in a way, it acts to repel water, it will make the wood you're oiling darker in its natural colour, and shinier so to speak. If you're oiling something like an axe handle use double boiled linseed. The price right now is way too high. I bet my hardware store has it for $10 or less. Circumstance will prevail. Works great on an end grain cutting board. I bet I oiled it 10 times, and each time needed to oil it less frequently. haven't oiled in a while it the board is nice and dark. Be sure to oil the bottom and sides equally, even if you don't use the other side, if you don't the board can still warp and crack. Still got some from original bottle left, end grain board is doing well. Don't clean the board with much soap if any. Don't cut garlic on it unless you really like it cause it will smell. Just sayin.

Great Product

Extremely fast delivery. After neglecting my bamboo chopping board & utensils for just over 18 months this product was just what they needed. Easy to use, however did find that after wiping off the excess it still felt oiling so left them airing over night & everything had been absorbed into the wood even after washing up multiple times the treatment has remained in the wood.

Seems expensive for what it is

Worked fine. But if as recommended I need to do the cutting board monthly, will look for a more cost effective solution (or maybe just a larger bottle?)

Good product

Just a note to say that it all arrived well but was leaking slightly. Not sure if it was a one off but thought I’d let you know. Great product though and it won’t put me off ordering again.
