Just OK in really cold environments

These work but are, in my experience, are a little inconsistent in heat output. They need exposure to air to produce the reaction that generates heat and being stuck inside a hiking boot does not really provided a good air flow. They do get very warm once the package is opened and exposed to air. We would stick them to our socks and let them heat up before putting our boots on but often found that they were not providing much, if any, heat after a couple of hours. Sometimes just removing our boots for a few minutes would reactivate them for a short period. Better than nothing but expected better. May work better in a loser fitting winter boot but somewhat limited effectiveness in our hiking boots. In fairness, we were using these in subzero temperatures. Maybe they would be more effective in less extreme temperatures.

I trust this brand

These toe-warmers went to a local group that helps homeless people. I am hoping they are helping individuals keep warm in winter weather, especially if they are standing in lines outside of food banks and other outdoor situations. I tried one pair first and found they kept my feet warm for many hours, so I believe they will work as advertised.

Great product to keep your toes warm when working overnight in cold weather. I recommend them, you won't be sorry.

A must for those who commute by bike in the Winter

I use these when the temps drop below -5C when riding my bike in the winter. Very effective in keeping my toes warm especially when it is windy. I place them on top of my toes (as opposed to the bottom). The adhesive works pretty well and keeps the pads in place during my ~1.5 hour commute (27km) to work in the winter. These are good for around 2-3 hours and maybe a bit more.

They do get warm

Did 6 hours of deer hunting in the Vancouver Island rain today and for 4 hours of it I had these warmers in my gloves. They aren't just for toes. Lol. I think these were a good buy.

Effective and long lasting

Effective and they work during 8h. If they stop heating, simply shake them or use your finger to "loosen" them. When they get too compacted, there isn’t enough oxygen (and these need oxygen contact to work)

check if there is the correct quantity in the box

It does what I need so far. However I ordered 2 boxes of 20, the boxes were both opened and 1 of them was missing 2 packs. So i received 18 instead of 20.. i wonder how many people actually check if the correct number of toe warmers are in the box.. the 1st time i bought them I did not check, but the second time, yes.

Does its job

I use these while going on a hunting trip in around 0 C. I give it a 3 star based on: 1. Works ok. It does fit well in the shoes. 2. Last for the entire day. 3. Because it heats up when air comes in, if you are wearing a tight shoes when air doesn't go in, it's not that warm.
