Mixed feelings
I bought this machine to paint our almost 2 acres fence. I want to love it. It works great and then it doesn’t. And then it works great again and then it doesn’t. It is pretty simple to clean and put together so I don’t see how I could be doing something wrong. It's like paint gets clogged on the inside. If this wouldn't happen I could finish a lot faster!

Where has this been all my life!
This was a total game changer! I have been painting furniture by hand for years. This is the best investment I have ever made. Easy to use, controlled coverage with little to no over spray. Took me minutes verses hours to paint a piece. Worth every penny!

after a bit of a journey I would recommend
When I opened the paint sprayer everything looked normal, except that the paint sprayer was entirely assembled, and there was an empty small box inside the package. I thought this was odd, but I mostly ignored it. When I used the sprayer for the first time I was super disappointed! Hardly anything came out, and it was sputtering like crazy! So I thinned my paint, Thinking that was the problem. This made no difference. I decided to give up, and paint my bathroom by hand. I took the sprayer into my kitchen to clean so that I could return it. As I was cleaning it I completely disassembled the spray nozzle,(I am assuming all the small nozzle parts are what was supposed to be in the empty box) and I discovered it was clogged with blue paint. I was painting my bathroom white! After throughly cleaning I decided as a last measure to run clean hot water through the gun and it worked like new. I am happy to say that I didn't have to paint my bathroom by hand, however I am disappointed that someone tried to pass off a used faulty paint gun off as new. Oh well, I'm just glad it works! I would recommend!

Mine came defective
I was really excited to try my new sprayer out and was very disappointed. No matter what I tried it sprayed splotches all over and the paint just oozed out of the nozzle even when I wasn’t pressing the button. When I took it apart to clean it I noticed that the plastic tip was chipped and jagged therefore causing the mess that ensued. I contacted the company and they sent me a new spray nozzle right out. I have not used it again yo see how it works but I’m sure it will make a huge difference!

Worked well, but kept shutting off
I used this machine for the first time to paint 10 wood shutters. It worked really well but for some reason the sprayer would randomly shut down. Almost like it was suddenly unplugged. Each time only lasted a few moments but I am concerned that the motor is bad. I waited well past the return date to use it so I guess I’m stuck. I’m just hoping it’s a built in feature to keep the machine from overheating, though I don’t think that’s what it is.

Careful if using extension cord
Was going to give this sprayer 1 star but with logic and patience, I called the customer support line. Painting outside, naturally you’d need an extension cord. I was painting a table with chalky paint. I would spray one side in one streak and and then stop. When I’d go to start the next streak, it wouldn’t turn on; id have to let it sit a minute or 2 for it to work again. I thought the paint was too thick so I slightly watered it. But now the sprayer wasn’t working at all! Every curse word was flying out of my mouth. Read the manual: useless. Troubleshooting section: no help. Called the support line and the first thing she said was the extension cord. Plugged the unit into the wall and BOOM back in business. Switched out to a different extension cord because I simply couldn’t work without one since the unit has such a short cord and no issues! Watering down the paint did help as well. Table is coming out beautifully.

$50 in the trash
Bought this in October 2020 to paint kitchen cabinets. It never really worked. Just spit a little. Of course I blamed myself and figured I needed to practice. So I washed it and tried again. Same result. I finally gave up and put it away. Life happens so I honestly forgot about it. I recently decided to try one more time. Watched trouble shooting and tutorials. Nothing worked. Sometimes it spits a little. Sometimes just blows air. I noticed that sometimes it just blows bubbles into the paint cup. Sometimes nothing at all. It takes everything in me to not yeet it across the yard. I don’t understand how you guys can give it 4 stars. What a complete waste of money

Too much mess
Paint goes all over the places. It's my first time using and I don't like it. Plus spend too much paint.

AVOID: Waste of time and $$
Tried to use this to paint a couple of cabinet facings. What a nightmare. Could not get this thing to spray properly regardless of viscosity (no viscosity cup included) or type of latex paint or primer or thinning. Tried cleaning many, many times, you tube videos and even consulted with the local handy people consortium that live in my neighbourhood. No one could get this to work properly. Appears to be something defective with pressurization or sprayer nozzle which is plastic (not brass). Gave up. Had to sand down everything again after what was sprayed dried which really annoyed me. So it not only didn't work and sucked up my time cleaning it continually and trying to get it to work but set the project back. Ended up using a foam roller which took less time than trying just one attempt to get this thing to work.

Great entry level sprayer
The Quick Finish is a great entry level HVLP sprayer for not a lot of $$$. I picked mine up for about $50 cdn and have no complaints. It is light, relatively quiet, and extremely easy to clean! Instructions are clear and straight forward. I strongly suspect many of the negative comments are due to using the wrong paint or incorrect settings. This sprayer is intended for small projects - furniture, cabinet doors, and other smaller items etc. If want to paint walls, fences, decks - consider HomeRights other sprayers. As an added note - I use it for applying ‘chalk’ paint, water based polyurethane, and some primers. All have sprayed perfectly.
