It will work but not great

I bought this as a hunting blind for myself. It is lightweight and does unfold and fold easily. It is lightweight. It is not waterproof but if you are a hunter, that shouldn't matter too much. This blind will work but there are better blinds on the market. The cons are: 1. Size- The door way is a tight squeeze. I am not a giant but it was still pretty small. Inside there is barely enough room to maneuver your rifle. 2. The shooting windows have no screen. When you open them, you are fully exposed. 3. The shooting windows are too low. I used a basic hunting stool and I had to crouch to get a view outside. I am 5'10 and these were set too low for me. 4. The materiel is very thin. Keep this in mind because a branch could definitely poke through. I plan to use this for 2022 but will be upgrading for next season.

Not bad...

The only reason I chose this specific hunting blind, was because 2 days before my 6-day Firearm season, there was a high prediction for rain/snow, on multiple days. This was the only blind that would ship in time, for the first day of my hunt. In addition,and by chance, it was the cheapest one. That being said, I give it 4 stars. It is ok.. There are quite a few pinhole size holes in the roof of the canopy, resulting in the occasional drip of rain leaking in. Also, it has a very potent plastic/chemical smell. I used 1/2 bottle of Scent Killer Gold, and a few sprays of doe urine, the day before use, to try and kill the smell. It still smelled very strong, and will certainly take many more days to dissipate the smell. On the plus side, it has a good camo color in relation to the early winter foliage, and blends in pretty well. Most importantly, it does the job and I was able to hunt in the rain/snow, without getting my firearm wet. It also was very easy to setup, and would be easy to close it and move to new area. Even with the potent smell, the wildlife still came near. In the offseason, I will certainly take it home and FlexSeal the canopy roof, to clog up the pinholes.

It does the job

I bought this as a cheap way to attempt ground blind hunting. It’s light weight and easy to throw on under your pack on the hike out. Once you find your spot it takes all of 30 seconds to set up. Your supposed to take it with you when not hunting but I left it out there for a whole season. Kinda my mistake you can tell it’s not meant to be left out but it held up really well. It went through a few snow storms and came out relatively good. Only issue I had was a branch came down and smacked it which broke a pole. Which is why I’m on here over a year after buying this. Anybody know how to get another pole??? Overall good buy for the weekend hunter

I like the room on the inside and the simplicity of the design.

Disclaimer... this is my first pop up blind. This is my first experience with this so I have no idea what else is out there. I presume there are blinds with more features and are better equipped. With that said, I think this blind will do very well. I plan on using this during turkey season with my daughter. We have both sat in it d I can say it is roomier than the underground goose blind I have hunted out of in the past. The zippers and Velcro are a little noisy but we will have to plan ahead and either leave the smaller windows open or lightly tack the corners on the velcro. I was afraid the colors might be off. In the picture, there appeared to be many reddish leaves in the camo pattern but they are more brown. I will leave a more detailed review better or worse after our hunt. So far I am very happy with the purchase. Best part is I didn’t have to dig a giant hole. ;)

Not what was expected

Great ground blind... if you had purchased it as a kids toy. Most definitely NOT shoot through mesh and the steel was stubborn and did not want to stay in place. The blind was nearly impossible to get to fold back and fit within the carry bag. I would not recommend this for a serious hunter.

Photographers Goodie...

I just set it up inside to check it out and appears well made for the price. Plenty of room for two inside, although I will be using solo most of the time. The windows and gun ports on three side will work perfectly for wildlife and bird photography. Set up and take down is quick and easy. Search YouTube for videos showing procedure to fold back into its carry sack, which has straps to carry like a backpack. A lightweight folding stool or chair will make hours-long "stake outs" comfortable.
