Easy squeal fix

quality & fit were perfect

It was my first time ever changing out something like this. The install in my 2006 Mazda Miata went according to plan except for the lowest bolt being corroded & the head breaking off part-way out. A couple back & forths to the parts store resulted in the right tool to get that bolt shaft out & smooth from there. Changing this & the worn-out idler pulley STOPPED THE RATTLE AT LOW IDLE/ENGINE LUG that was so noticeable. If I did it, you can too.

Drop in replacement for 2010 Mazda MX-5 Miata

Installed this Gates tensioner in my 2010 Mazda MX-5 Miata. Was a perfect drop in replacement. The tension spring housing assembly is a little smaller and lighter than the original Mazda OEM part. No significant consequence in use. Have driven the car with the new tensioner for over two weeks now with no issues.

Great Product!

Works great for a fraction of the cost of OE!!! Even though it's listed as not fitting an automatic trans car, there's no difference, and it will work for all NC Mazda MX5 Miatas, from 06-15.
