I rarely give 5 stars but I LOVE this towel. Due to some tendonitis I've found my beloved Manduka to be a bit of a chore to lug around. I bought this as both an alternative and add-on for the Manduka. It's perfect! Absolutely beautiful, I love the purple with green edging. Nice and grippy - I'm loving using it on the floor alone and have had 0 slip issues. It feels so nice and soft. I haven't sweat on it much yet, but it feels like the absorbency will be great. It was also an easy machine wash with other towels and then I hung to dry. If you're looking for something like this - this is THE one. You won't regret it.

Not slippery

Some yoga towels that are more expensive have slipped on me. This one is adorable and doesn’t slip. It is shorter than my mat but it works fine even if the pockets are not tucked in.

PERFECT FOR HOT YOGA AND YOU SWEAT LIKE A PROSTI IN CHURCH

Before this towel, I would literally pour and drip all over the place. I was mopping up every could of minutes otherwise I would slip on my sweat. Not anymore due to this baby. Now I can focus on my yoga instead of worrying that I would slip on my sweat and break somthing! The four corners keep the towel in place. Whoever thought of this is probably a millionaire!

Yoga mat cover

I bought this item since I’m a sweaty Betty & when my sweat lands on my Yoga mat I was concerned I could slip & fall. I’m new to Yoga & my balance is not where I need it to be. This microfiber cover keeps me on solid ground. My mat itself is 4 inches longer than the cover. Even though the cover has pockets for the mat to slid into, the cover is too small. I would buy it again even though the smaller size.

It is NOT terrycloth at all.

I saw the purple one and it appeared to have very short terrycloth fibers on one side. Exactly what I wanted, less than an average towel, but more than a smooth sports type moisture soaker upper (if that makes sense because words are hard). The Grey one has NO terry fibers at all, just smooth material on both sides. I am sure it is lovely and will wick sweat away as needed, but I wanted the very short terrycloth fibers for hot pilates-it just makes me feel better even though I know in that room the sweat'll be back in seconds. I'm on the fence whether I will return it or not, as it is a very good quality brand-it may work for the time being and should fit my mat. I have not taken it completely off the hanger so I cannot speak to size or absorbency. I would include the picture but it won't upload.

So soft but not slippery soft

I ordered a towel before this that was also soft but too slippery soft. This one wasn’t slippery soft and had a better grip. Love it and the color!!

Good product

Does what you want it to. Corners hook on to your mat so the cover doesn’t move around too much. I do a lot of hot yoga and my hands and feet get sweaty which makes it difficult to hold poses. This cover is extremely helpful.

Slippery and it shrank

On my flat carpet, it slips and does not adhere completely when dry. It offers more grip when wet (so in the middle of a hot yoga class). After the first wash, it shrank.

Too Small & Colour Bleeds into laundry

1. Too small to fit a standard yoga matt, so the corner pockets are useless as they don't reach the edges. 2. Colour bleeds into your laundry even when washing with cold water. 3. Ruined two others shirts that were in the cold water wash with this towel. Recommendation --> Do not buy --> Find something better.

The towel is very light and the texture is soft. However, it shrunk after wash, so it's a little tight to cover the mat.
