Great product and WiFi range!

I tried using a Feit indoor 'Smart WiFi Plug' in an area that is slightly shielded from my home WiFi and it would barely stay connected (and it's an 'indoor' area). I switched to the Feit Electric Smart Outdoor Plug and it stays connected just fine - great signal strength. Apparently the WiFi chip / design in the outdoor plug provides much better range. Who would have thought???

Feit app makes it work well

Wanted to put in some wifi capable lights for outside and inside the house. Only wanted to have one brand and app, and Feit seemed to be available in the styles I wanted. Ended up with a couple of the indoor plugs as well as these outdoor plugs. Much easier to program on the app compared to setting dials or digital timers that had to be reset when the power went out, and easy to change for the seasons or if we were having a party. The app is easy to use, and it only takes a minute or two to add a new device to the system. We can turn lights on and off when traveling, holiday decorations, or just indoor lighting so lights are on when you wake up and head to the kitchen in the morning. very happy with the hardware but the app/software are what makes the system shine.

Good Value In An Outdoor Smart Outlet

Used to connect string lights on screen porch. Easy to install app which allowed very simple integration with Alexa. No longer need to plug in cord to turn on lights. Just say “Alexa: turn on porch lights!”

So much easier to use than a photo cell timer

I'm a big fan of decorations for Halloween and christmas. For many years I have used the photo sent all timers to try to coordinate when my lights and decorations would turn on. They would never turn on at the same time because the shadows would hit them a few minutes apart. With these, they are extremely easy to use. You connect them to the app on your phone or tablet and set a timer. You can also do multiple timers. They will come on when they are scheduled and turn off when you schedule them. I have used them for the Christmas season and so far I have had no issues whatsoever. They are really simple to set up. In order to set them up though, you have to download the app and then run it really close to the device until it picks it up. Once it has picked it up you set your schedule you plug your items in and you are good to go.

Works great

This outdoor smart plug works very well. I already have 10 Feit electric smart dimmers in my house. The plug connects to the Feit electric app really easy. Now you can turn lights on and off with your phone or tablet

Rated for outdoor usage and a smart plug :)

Needed a smart timer/plug for outside usage for cheap. Cant get any better than this. App is easy to download and setup and you have a nice outdoor rated smart timer/plug. Can't complain!
