Okay I've used this thing almost daily for the last month+ so I thought I would leave a review for those who are wondering. TLDR: very fair vacuum for the price, a few minor annoyances, great attachments Pros: 1. The price for a stick vacuum with a 2and battery and useful attachments is very reasonable. 2. the attachements! We have hardwood floors downstairs, carpeted stairs, and a hall rug. The eufy can easily transition between all these things. I primarily keep the hard floors brush on as it's what I use most, but the brush roller works pretty well on my stairs and rug. The stairs have become a breeze to quickly vacuum. I really like the automated hand brush for my couch, and recently the flexible tubing came in super handy to vacuum some fridge drawer crumbs. 3. decent filters that can be cleaned. in fact, the whole thing is easy to take apart and wash up. the filters are a good part of what sets this one apart from the $100 vacuums 4. The backup battery. If I'm being thorough (floors, stairs, rug, couch and chair, kitchen chairs sometimes), I nearly always have to replace the battery. Our downstairs is probably a little under 1k sq ft. We use a different, more powerful vacuum upstairs because its fully carpeted. Anyways, the spare battery is one of the best things about this vacuum because children and cats are messy. It definitely holds a charge long enough to quickly do all the floors on one charge though. When one runs out I quickly slide off the spent battery, plug it in, and slide on the full battery and resume. 5. It works pretty well. Yes you can vacuum up cheerios with the regular floor attachment, though it might take a few passes. That's about the max size of what can be sucked up with the brush head... 6. I never realized how much I was missing out without vacuum lights???? 7. it is designed so you can set it up against/on a counter and it will stay there. -the front of the battery pack rests on top of a standard counter height. 8. easy to take apart and clean or unclog debris that are too big 9. decent docking station 10. feels pretty well made with one exception (see below) 11. my young boys like using it, especially when the main tube has been removed so it's their size, also its lightweight enough they can manage it 12. canister size is acceptable. you might need to empty it mid cleaning if you're doing a large area or have pets, but for regular quick cleanups you probably wont have to. okay and now the cons/annoyances: 1. you cant pick up very large things with it. the tube and vacuum head clearance space is larger than the connecting point to the canister. Also theres a 90° turn for things to go through a flap into the canister. For the most part, and general non child having people, this shouldn't be much of an issue. However I will 100% of the time 'go for it' to see if something will fit, so I partially bring this issue upon myself. If you have lots of cereal pieces (like cheerios for example) odds are you wont have an issue, but they might road block at the connecting point. you can tell when it happens and it simply requires removing the canister to unclog and/or dumping the vacuum body over the trash. Things that have gotten stuck in my vacuum include- too large chunk of dried playdoh, cereal traffic jam when I picked up too many too quickly, popcorn, a small piece of mulch, and a bread tie 2. the flap covering the canister to vacuum body connection point (inside the canister) is shaped kind of strangely and collects dust along its corners that must be cleaned out occasionally. Its shape and placement aids clogs in happening. I'm not sure if it's supposed to fully cover the entry hole, but it doesnt. I had a $20bissel that could handle, without clogging, all kinds of "bigger" things (including an occasional piece or two of pinestraw) that this one cant. 3. This obviously will be no match for an upright vacuum and thus stairs and rugs/other carpets should still have a more thorough deep cleaning every now and then. The high power function does a fair job but doesnt compare to full upright suction abilities and it sucks the battery. I have two cats and I find this fairly sufficient, but if you have animals that lose masses of long hair (ex. German shepards) I'd probably look elsewhere. In terms of power, It definitely is not as strong as a newer version dyson. It is probably on par with the older models like the 6 and 7. I cant say that with total accuracy though because I've not tested out those two dyson sticks in awhile or in my own home environment. Its sufficient for every day quick clean ups but it's not the end all be all. 4. The one area that feels, and has proven to be cheapish is the silver filter cover and other silver painted areas. The silver comes off or scratches easily. It wouldn't have been an issue for me except, while vacuuming the dust off the tops of my cabinets I scraped the ceiling with the unit (it's kind of long and theres not a lot of clearance) and now I have a silver streak on my ceiling????????. This isnt a deal breaker, but It is important to know the cons. The silver looks nice, but I'd have preferred the plastic to be totally silver or just kept white instead of painted. 5. for some people the fact the docking station itself doesnt charge might bother some people but it's a nonissue for us. 6. the trigger button does have a little bit of a plastic mold line/lip down the middle as some other reviews mentioned. Mine isnt too bad, but can be noticeable if I'm doing a lot of vacuuming. The trigger could definitely be improved by having a completely smooth button. Its not at all hard to pull back at least. 7. edge suction could be improved but again, it's a stick vac so it's not going to compete with something more powerful. Fortunately you can pop off the roller head attachment and just use the tube along floor perimeters. 8. a crevice attachment and soft round dusting brush would have been nice to have, even if as an inexpensive add on option All in all I think it is a solid buy. For the price you get a very acceptable vacuum with extra battery power, and lots of easy quick to change, functionally designed attachments. It cannot handle larger items without clogging but is easy to clear. If you have reasonable expectations of stick vacuums and understand their limitations for convenience trade off, you should be pleased with this one. I am giving it a 4 star rating because there can be some improvements, but it's more of a 4.5 star when all things have been considered.
