Cheap safety precaution

I bought this after reading an article that said there is a law in France requiring drivers to keep a safety vest in their vehicle at all times to wear if the vehicle breaks down and they have to walk on the side of the highway. Though that isn't a law in the US (at least not that I know of) it seemed like a pretty good idea. At $3 this is a great safety measure to keep in the trunk. The vest itself came quickly and packaged well.

Nice quality. Fits up to 2XL / XXL

My 5 stars rating is for when I bought it at the $3.49 price. Today Amazon jacked up the price of the green version to $7.20!! Fits OK for 5'6" 225lbs 44" chest & 40" waist over a 2XL jacket. If you wear a 3XL it would probably be too small. Bought one to keep in each vehicle as part of a roadside emergency kit.

A reflective review of a reflective vest

It's O.K. nothing special, unless your very heavy it does not stay in place and has virtually no adjustments. My wife sewed velcro on it so when I run it doesn't flop all over the place.

Good Quality

Due to the number of people who have the telephone pole by our home jump out in front of them, we purchased a couple of these vests for our safety. I found the materials and workmanship of them to be of good quality. In our warm climate, they are not heavy or bulkey and have very good visability at night.

For some reason I was hoping it would be a bit more sturdy of a fabric, but nonetheless, it does the trick. This was bought for someone that has to do some walking at night, and wanted to be seen by cars so they don't get hit. The lime, though a strange netting fabric, is still pretty reflective and very bright, and the grey tape is very reflective. So you will absolutely be seen. Also fits a variety of sizes. From someone really slim to someone as big as 60 inches around. The elastic on the sides and the fact that it's a fabric netting sure helps with that. It's not regulation-conforming in any way, but it works for people like joggers and bikers.
