Great STEM toy
This set lets young children try out multiple experiments. Many of the experiments call for household supplies like shaving cream, milk, and oil, but the equipment needed is included, as are some of the materials. It's easy to replace materials as they get used up, and the equipment can be reused for months, possibly even years. All the pieces are sturdy and bright colored. My grandchildren love it!

Fun for kids and parents together
This is a sweet little project that is great for a young scientist kiddo who can either follow directions on their own or needs a little help from a grown-up. Actually, that's really what it's best for--helping an 8 - 11-year old learn how to read and follow directions! This is a great set to get your kiddos excited about science! The kit comes with a lot of things for the experiments but you still may need to find something in your pantry or in your house, so check the list before your promise that you can do the experiments. Also, some of these require more than 1 day, so keep that in mind if you have a kid who is looking for instant results. For that reason, it may be better for older elementary kids--my daughter is in 3rd grade and she can handle the idea of doing an experiment and then waiting a day or two for the results. But, I love that this helps my kids to follow directions, learn new things, and stay away from electronics! Huge win!!

Great for curious kids
My 8 year old is always trying to do his own experiments so this was a no brained for me on getting. He was so excited when we received it to be able to do actually experiments. It is a great little kit with a good amount of experiments to keep him busy and off the iPad or tv. It doesn’t have everything you need because there are ones that require you to have or get items for it. When you open it up just take a peak at the list to make sure you have all you need. It’s quality is about what you’d expect for something meant for younger kids. The price isn’t bad since it keeps him busy and the experiments are pretty fun. It’d just be great to not need more items.

Great quality but experiments could be better
I originally got this for me to do with my 4 year old and five year old together (me helping them through the experiments). However, I think this is more intended for older kids to do by themselves. This kit comes with a book that has about 15 experiments included and most of the experiments take 1-3 days to see the results. Where as, my young kids were looking for instant/exciting results. There were a few experiments that provided instant results but most of them take some time and would be cooler for older kids who have the patience and actually understand the science behind it. Other than that, the quality of the tools and everything included is very good. The kit actually comes with quite a lot. So if you have a kid who’s really into science then I do recommend this!

8-yr old enjoyed
Did a couple of these with 8-year old granddaughter. Then she decided she wanted to do others by herself! Big plus in that it stimulated her. I am a big fan of STEM products as they encourage young minds. This one did that! And encouraged further explanation of how and why. Nice product.

Super fun but need extra supplies
You do need extra supplies for some of the projects. And also some projects take several days which my son (5yo) did not have the patience for. He did enjoy the milk and slime project. He uses the tubes in his sand play now. Overall this is great to have when the kids have time off and need to do something.

You gotta prepare before doing the experiments
So, this is a nice kit. It gives you several science experiments to do with exact directions on how to perform them. You get beakers, test tubes, a funnel, some supplies. BUT, you need to prepare because every experiment requires you to have something on hand in your own kitchen. The one we did today is a rain cloud -- you had to have shaving cream to do this experiment. Nothing that you need to have on hand is expensive or rare. Just realize you need to prepare before doing one of the experiments.

Nice starter set!
This is a great way of introducing science to kiddos. The instructions are easy for the kiddos to follow. The set is small for a one time use for each activity.
